If anyone has the elf highlighter and doesn't like it, stick some sticky tape over it and scrape the tape with your nail. This takes the top layer off and it's 1000x better and more pigmented. I was so disappointed when I first used it but I found that hack and I love it now

Japanese prefer to natural glowing, and very sparkling highlighters are not suit Japanese. In addition, people have more money and can afford to buy highend cosmetics are more than 30 years old, so they prefer to more calming colouring. Giving natural glowing to one's skin to produce very smooth, clea n, and healthy bare skin is the most important. Actually, cle de peau's highlighter is one of the most famous and popular luxury cosmetics in Japan. I don't know my English is correct. Sorry😢 from Japan

Selena beauty and vlogs Hernandez because expensive don’t mean quality. When you buy something expensive you buy the brand name. Makeups are so cheap to be made in factories all of them but depend of the brand how they organize the price and many girls buy expensive products even they almost cost nothing thinking it’s better than the affordable one but it’s not.

If you want a natural shine it's not amazing to buy that, but it's natural. (Its not great to buy it since it's like really pricey) and elf is 4 dollars for a blinding shine which is Jeffrey star approved and a good deal! Drugstore make up isnt really blinding or natural-shine. It is in the middle, as for expensive goes for something completely natural, or extremely pigmented makeup which makes you look nothing natural such as eyeshadow, highlighter, and lipstick. Natural makeup makes people think that they have a natural glow, that is why its pricey. Please dont come for me and start drama. I am just a kid who watches alot of Jeffree star. And gets the little detailed info from him

The thing with elf baked highlighters is that when you FIRST swatch it, it's disappointing AF. A tip I learnt is that you need to scrape off or get rid of the first layer and then it becomes so buttery, gorgeous and most of all: BLINDING!

My mom won't let me buy a decent highlighter, so I layer like 3 cheap, shimmery, metallic, highlight-like eyeshadows to make it blinding. Like ACTUALLY blinding. It's gorgeous. I have that elf highlighter. Love it. Had to beg my mom to let me buy it though. She won't let me spend money on makeup or nails, which I love.

If u want a fun one to try , get make-up revolution jelly highlighter. Its a dupe for the Farsali Jelly Beam. Its super fun. You also might like an app called Influenster. U can review all kinds of products and beauty stuff and get advice and ask questions about it. Its fun.

I've never tried the elf highlighters but I have used one of the baked blushes in a very light shade that looked like a highlighter. It's amazing! It's so pigmented and sooo gorgeous!!! It was only $3😀❤️

Elf is one of the better drugstore brands for sure. Sonia Kashuk has really nice highlighter and brushes at Target I think that brand is more on par with what you can find at Sephora

Good to know! ELF is perfect for a broke bitch like me. I'm loving their facial whip in lilac petal lately (only $1!) - I was worried it was gonna be sticky/greasy but it's smooth and dewy and pigmented enough that you only need one tiny drop per cheek.

You should try the wet n wild mega glow loose highlighting powder in the shade written in the stars. It's from there zodiac collection. It cost around $6 but it is amazing. I'm that kind of person who likes to GLOW and everyone I know is obsessed with it. It's probably the best and cheapest highlight you can buy if you want to GLOW.
