Single user mode can be disabled by adding a firmware password. A second option is to encrypt your Mac with FileVault 2. When this is enabled, you need the password to unlock the disk before entering single user mode.

I don't know how exact the tracking is it might only tell you that your remote is in your house not what pillow it's under, you should get something that not only tracks but beeps if your near it.

hacking Windows XP is pretty was pretty simple, launch pc in administrator mode and the go to settings and your on pc, afterwards you can delete the password from the account that's locked in settings
