This life stuff is hard! I've been have a tough time recently and I know I'm not alone. This video contains 4 questions I've learned through cognitive behavioral therapy, insight meditation, and mindful self-compassion that help me realign when the struggle is real. They won't solve all your problems, but they'll put you in the headspace to support yourself through them.

Thanks, Jenn. Going through anhedonia just now - it's like i try so hard to deal with how i'm feeling when life throws a curve ball at me, hokding so tight on keeping things together during times i can't let go, like when we have visitors for example, that i then crash & find no enjoyment in the things i normally do, & have no energy to do them anyway. I'm hoping if i rest enough things will start to improve & get better. Thanks for sharing your helpful tips - i'm asking myself those questions & coming up with the answers that i need to give myself time to rest, but i know there's a fine line between resting, whallowing, & being sensible & taking myself in hand, & knowing when & how to do this. How do i know if i'm being just plain lazy?! It's hard to discern the difference.

Belle, I want to respond to this more in depth because I hear you and it is SO hard when you’re in that place, but I’m behind in packing for a trip and feeling a little harried. I do want to say, though, that you are not lazy. I’m not even convinced lazy is a real thing. You need what you need!
