Great episode! I can see how the "penny dropped" on all episodes! Bay the way, the 1st Chapter and the 2nd Chapter are not separated (Mo and Africa)

Love this but think it would be better if you reflected after each part to say what you learned from that talk and how it’s impacted your life in a real way, what has changed because of that realisation.

Always a pleasure to re-hear these insights. You've fast become my favourite podcast. I think I've learned more about myself and what I want to achieve in my future, in the past 6 months from listening to these episodes than I have in my whole life. Please don't stop stepping on the gas because you're absolutely killing it. 🤙

Thank you Steven, great job! You are a very gifted person with talent to say the right words and formulate thoughts brilliantly and simply. I'm 37 and just starting to learn how to live "consciously" and behave the way I want to and not the way I'm used to. I admire that you are so much aware of things at much younger age. Keep going!

Hello from Nicaragua 🇳🇮, Steve! I just found this video among many others that I was browsing to find one you did with Dr. Gabor Maté. It is amazing how much knowledge these four interviewees pass on to you and, thankfully, you to us. I have to confess though, that the one that was truly an AHA moment for me was your interview with Gabor Maté. I have shared it with almost anyone I know. He is like a true sage. Many, many thanks for doing this Podcast, it has definitely help me tons.

if anyone's interested, Mel's talking about the Polyvagal theory. All trauma, large or small, has a negative effect on your nervous system which can become dysregulated. this involves the vagus nerve. I implore you to try working with an experienced practitioner, preferably doing both limbic work - rewiring the brain (or try DNRS) AND somatic work which is the physical side of healing and bringing your body back into homeostasis- or balance. this is where yr immune system starts firing on all cylinders, gut function improves, healing, detox occurs, brain fog lifted etc. takes time to build resilience back into yr nervous system, have to go slow and steady.. it's perfect for ME/CFS, Fibromyalgia, anxiety, depression, processing grief, trauma (talking therapies can retraumatise a person), Lyme, POTS, it's quite a long list as the vagus nerve is connected to so many areas & organs of the body. btw 80% of the info & messages goes from those organs up to the brain, not the other way round. it's a life changer. (I was bed bound but now up all day, functioning).
@MightyMouse350
@MightyMouse350 11 ай бұрын
@DemetraAndriopoulou Yes. I have gone from couchbound to only housebound & able to go out 👍 I'm recovering from ME/CFS. The somatic work with the nervous system is the most impactful. It's just the science of how the body works (nothing newage or faddish).
