Always great information. Thank you! As far as looking at cause, treatment, and how lifestyle might affect trajectory of the disease, do you have any clients with Alzheimer's/Dementia using the Bredeson protocol and it helping to slow decline, or who tried it with no positive effects?

Great YT. I’m 66yo, plant based and have kept my ldlc down in the mid 30’s using low dose rosuvastatin and ezetimibe specifically to try to mitigate small vessel, disease … was surprised that small vessel disease contributes to 30% of dementia … I had considered letting my ldlc drift back to 80 by stopping the drugs .. but, as I intend to live to 100 … I may just keep those vessels clear. I heard about statins reducing the chances of dementia by up-to 30% ..is this just die to small vessel, disease,or do statins have other positive effects . 4 years ago, I decided to get a cognitive test for a baseline to determine potential issues later in life … seems I made a good decision for a change.

I recently came across an unusual suggestion to self-manage vascular degeneration: humming! I wonder if you have seen anything about this; I omitted to jot down the cite. Apparently humming encourages the body's nitric oxide production, which dilates the arteries; whether this translates to ameliorating CVD I don't know, but it it ties in to ancient traditions of some eastern religious orders. It's certainly inexpensive to try!

I would like to ask you if it is possible that Omega 3 fatty acid supplements have negative effects on our brain? I take one 1000mg capsule a day and feel that the omega 3 supplement is having a rather negative effect on my brain
