Thanks for the info. Best not to give anything to your pup that's not recommended by your vet. Interesting I just read not to give your pup Benadryl gel caps because they contain xylitol.

Thanks for the warning, I had no idea. We don't have benadryl here... That is scary, because a lot of people give Benadryl to their dogs and cats because it's fairly safe... but how many people will actually check the label of the gel caps? Who would even think they'd add an artificial sweetener to a pill??

My vet says use aspirin 325 no coating... My dog is like my child I don't give her pharmaceuticals, so therefore I wont give him that!! So manty natural alternatives to use!

Exactly, unless a specific situation calls for the use of anti-inflammatories, we steer clear of them. Turmeric paste is great for long term anti inflammatory power
