What is a 4 point inspection? The 4 point inspection is the one inspection an insurance company will require if you are buying a home that is at least 30 years old (Or if you are looking to get a new policy on an existing home that is 30+ years old). The 4-point inspection form needs to be completed by a Florida licensed inspector. The 4 points are the roof, the electrical system, the plumbing, and the air conditioning system (HVAC).
If you want to have a 4 point inspection or wind mitigation done, call a licensed home inspector like Adam Mararra with Florida Home Inspections Bureau. Adam can be reached at 321-313-3190.
