Rheumatoid labs, or rheumatoid arthritis (RA) labs, refer to various tests and diagnostic procedures that help in identifying and assessing rheumatoid arthritis, a chronic inflammatory disorder.
These tests often include blood tests to detect certain biomarkers which are typically elevated in people with RA.
Additionally, tests measuring inflammation markers are common, aiding in assessing the level of inflammation in the body. Imaging studies like X-rays and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) might also be conducted to evaluate joint damage and disease progression.
The results of these tests collectively provide valuable information for healthcare professionals to confirm a diagnosis, design a suitable treatment plan, and monitor the disease's progression over time.
It's important to note that no single test can definitively diagnose RA, hence, a combination of clinical evaluation, medical history, and these laboratory and imaging tests is often used for an accurate diagnosis.

Thank you. I wish I would have had you as a doctor years ago. I knew something was wrong for years but kept getting Fibroymayagia, Polyarthralgia, and OA. My tests would comeback as CCP negative and RF Factor negative but Sed rate elevated. Still moving just pain and swelling Fast forward till today I use a powerchair, canes, and walker and cannot get up and down steps. I just got my diagnosis of RA. My tests are still odd CCP weak postive, RF Factor elevated at 47 but ANA negative. I now also have swelling that never goes away, and Rheumatoid nodules on my elbow (can't straighten out my elbow" and my right knuckle. I feel that the early test you described might have helped me get a diag sooner.

Hi. I commented on an older video of yours with what supplements I used. It may help other plus you may have like to look on to them. I have RA and suffered pains and burning sensations daily even with methotrexate. Since I stopped taking 15mg of methotrexate once a week in September 2020 I have taken 300mg CoEmzymeQ10, 20mg PQQ. I find these help boost my mitochondria helping my cells stay healthier than with methotrexate and I feel so much better. I have never had the pains or burning sensations. However I still have many of the RA symptoms and difficulties with my mobility. The carnivore diet help when I tried it so I hope to try that full time. Keep up the videos and awareness 👏🏼

Thank you Dr.YU! I've listened to this video several times and now jotted down the tests you've referenced here to discuss with my Rheumatologist. I have an appt later this week and was shocked to learn that due to some "reporting by Scripps" after attempting to get regular Medicare I was reported as having RA, which was a shock to me. I knew I have Sjogren's but never was I told I had RA, which would have caused me to pay over $500/month in insurance cost, so I went back to the "advantage" plan. I did recently have a lumbar steroid epidural in my lower back, which did absolutely nothing. I do NOT have pain in my hands at all, and only in my hip, knee and arch of my foot. I'm careful about what I eat, and prednisone seems to be the ONLY drug that helps with the pain. Thank you very much for being on this platform to help us, when all else seems to fail us.

I live in New Zealand. We have no labs like this and integrative or holistic doctors are like trying to find gold. We are primitive here but in NZ we do eat seasonal and grow our own food. I wish we had the doctors America has.

My only positive lab is RF. The CCP is negative and also CRP and Sed Rate. Now my doctor thinks I have EOA. My first Dr. diagnosed me as having RA. Would these tests help with the diagnosis?

@@MYAutoimmuneMD I hope to have my sister come and see you. I think you could help her manage her RA and improve her quality of life. Her methotrexate is making her weak and she is now apathetic. Also on anti seizure meds. Probably bad interaction between the methotrexate and Keppra 😢

You need to see a Rheumatologist as sometimes it just gets worse - I came off my meds, and it just got more progressive for me, frustratingly, so back on injections but trying to limit and always eat well

I need to go to some 3rd world country to get diagnosed. "Doctors" in USA have been horrible. The entire "healthcare" system is money driven and sick people and their suffering mean nothing.
