In this weeks video I have an update on the f32 435i registration process and ill also be chaining the cabin air filter with a new one i got from FCP euro.

15min job saved me 200 bucks at the dealer. Should only take 10min next replacement. Also changed the engineer air filter as well with OEM parts from FcpEuro. Stay blessed good sir!

The two inside screws are torn, probably a T20, and two plastic clips, one in middle, one on the right side (toward the door side).

I would help to mentioned what size the (2) Torx "screws" are. Also the (2) clips that need to be released. It's a tutorial after all.

Are you "assuming" they'll send you a new filter under warranty based on their "lifetime warranty on everything we sell" statement, or is that what they told you directly? A filter doing it's job, over its projected lifespan is not a defective part. As such, I highly doubt it would qualify for warranty replacement?

No, I have actually used the lifetime warranty policy on the air filter and things like oil changes as well. As long as you return the used item you will get your money back. I was skeptical at first, too, but it does work.

The engine air filter is remarkably easy to change. You just need a flat head to remove the large tube, then unclip 4 clips. I did mine in 5 mins without even watching a youtube video lol

I was road tripping and my ax stopped working. I found your video but I’m not some nerd who carries around wrenches, so I just punched the dash board and kicked the glove box until enough sediment form the air filter dispersed and cold air started to blow. Thanks for nothing!
