Last one. I call BS. He went through her bag. The bag had clothes, hygiene products and snacks (probably visible when he opened bag). He then went through the bag and found the money (which was surely hidden). If he was just looking for mold/damage in the closet why search the bag? It was obviously her stuff. I would have assumed it was gym, travel type stuff - not search further. All this points to him being controlling (at least) and possibly abusive (her packing the bag indicates SHE has concerns about him). Hope she and the baby are safe.

First story: I would love to read the wife's version in the pro revenge subreddit. Second story: Men need to realize that if they are going to focus on fake stories about people they don't know, it's going to be that much more difficult to focus on and keep the family together in real life. Third story: If you don't want to have kids, get rid of the overgrown teenage son that can't even keep a job, let alone take care of a wife and kids. Fourth story: I have always had emergency bug-out bags in my car. It's not just about escaping abusive relationships. The fact that there is gender based violence epidemic in the world and there are HOTSPOTS of sex trafficking that are ENTIRE countries. I am from one of those countries and during the pandemic the gender based violence rates went up 500%!!! i can hardly grasp that statistic even though i new it was bad I had to look it up to accept that it is real. I moved away though thanfully but half of my family still live there majority of which are female and i always worry about them.

So I'm just gonna make another comment... Story time (regarding last stort) My aunt had been and has been with her husband for nearly 20 yrs, they had a good relationship, never really fought. One day out of the blue he starts accusing her of cheating. He flew off the handle broke her nose and doused her in gasoline, (he had never been violent before) and half of the house. He 100% intended to set my aunt on fire and kill her. The only thing that stopped him was they had no matches or lighters, that is the only thing that saved her. He had a brain tumor. We had to get my aunt out of there ASAP, my bed smelled like gasoline for weeks because she couldn't was the smell off. Every woman needs a go bag, it's not about trust and that dudes reaction shows that she was rightfully worried. Instead of reassuring her or pretending he never saw it and making sure she never needs it he makes sure she uses it immediately. Also reddit is anonymous no one was clocking that he's black. Statistics are statistics for a reason

Be the “protector and provider” for your baby and the mother of your child instead of lashing out or throwing a tantrum. The story by the nurse reminds me of why I’m kind of scared of marriage: the man I marry may have different expectations and demands of me. I’m not thrilled with the concept of marriage, and I’m happy with how our relationship is and I don’t want that to change.

That first one: I am IN LOVE with that wife's exit and took notes: get receipts, make a plan, disappear, tell friends to give no contact, tell snitches nothing, and let the attorneys handle the rest. Make them think you were just a figment of their imagination. That last one: that insecure primadonna made it all about him when he could've asked his wife, "what can I do to help you feel safe?" That could've started an entirely new level of blissful intimacy. Instead he cried worse than their 2-year-old probably did. What a king baby.

That last story pissed me off just as much as the first one. His knee-jerk reaction was to victim blame, and accuse her of deeming him untrustworthy instead of UNDERSTANDING her POV as a woman and making it his life mission to make sure she never feels the need to use an escape bag in the first place. How convenient for him to ignore certain statistics just because they don't affect him, while using other statistics that have nothing to do with this scenario to gaslight other people validly criticizing his asinine and selfish way of thinking. Using trust - or lack thereof - to invalid her very real concerns of being abused or killed by her partner. Men tell women all the time to have discernment by choosing better, and when that means choosing ourselves, it's a problem. 🙃

1st story: he didn’t feel power and control because his wife took it, so he feels like the wronged one. You would think that she was the one who lied, destroyed his life and humiliated him; it indicates that power and control makes a woman wrong, untrustworthy and to be hated, even when she’s done everything right and loyal.
