It’s kinda annoying when interviews ask ridiculous question or even personal questions. Specially in the us. They always got ask some weird question. An what’s even more annoying is when kpop groups get interviewed in the us and the interviewer always gotta say o wow your English is so good. Like yea maybe they study or they could even be born in an English speaking country. It’s not just Koreans that’s can only speak Korean.

Sorry your a celebrity. You are going to be asked uncomfortable personal questions. Comes with the territory. Your privacy takes a cut when you are in the public eye. And yes. Americans are very quick to say “wow your English is so good” just like if I went to Korea and was interviewed by a native and spoke the language they would say “you speak Korean very well!” When you can speak more than one language other than your native tongue yes it’s impressive to anyone and deserves to be commended especially English or mandarin. And if they don’t like the questions they are being asked then don’t go on American interviews. To be 100% they don’t even need the American interviews to sell out or promote in America.

They were "uncomfortable" because they were just caught off guard and because it was filmed, they needed to respond. Stay calm because just because gained popularity, it doesn't means that isn't plagiarised. It's obvious the underground rappers attacked them because they were the easy target. if they had problems with "idol rappers", then bring it up to GD or TOP (who were at the top of their career at that time). they obviously didn't have the balls to do that and just decided to attack the newly debuted idols

to be fair: what do korean rappers know about hiphop? it's not even THEIR culture, it was originated by black people. sure hiphop can have multiple genres, but korean rappers shouldn't act like they invented it, they just saw the rise of it and went along with it. im not saying that hiphop belongs to black people only, im saying that *MOST, NOT ALL* korean rappers shouldnt feel so entitled and say that they know everything about hiphop. rappers can wear makeup too, take a look at lil nas x or other rappers that are part of lgbtq+. anyways, have a nice day

These issues, together with so many other kpop news/scandals, really showcase the lack of understanding some people have when it comes to the artist and the artist’s label/company. I see so many target the artists for something that the label is responsible for, and it’s so sad to see that the idols are the ones who have to take the hit by dealing with it, either in person through interviews or by apologising in written form.

@Moya3003
@Moya3003 2 жыл бұрын
@@Kudoscookery A singer is a performing artist. And probably also a recording artist. Like all musicians, their art is the interpretation of a work of art usually composed by another artist. Once you start hanging around with artists you will find you’re surrounded by clouds of artists of all kinds. A skill is referred to as art is because it involves a great degree of creativity; singing is a performance art in the sense that it requires great creativity to do, even if it isn’t visual in nature. A singer is able to, at a loud volume, create a sound so pleasing to the ears that people pay to hear it, just as a painting is so pleasing to the eyes that people pay to see it. You really don't know how difficult it is to sing correctly. There are those that can sing every note on key but display no emotion. A real artist can tell a story with a song and make the listener really feel what the composer was saying. Now, read that if you want to, don't if you don't want to. I've said what I had to and whether you think singers don't contribute towards songs or they do is not my problem anymore.

I don't think asking hard questions straight to the artist is wrong when talking about plagiarising or chart manipulation. If they have done nothing wrong answer. If we as a society refuse to talk about these things smaller creators and artists have no change getting their voice heard and how could for example billboard know that people are upset about the way the do charts. Bts answered well to that question. If people are unhappy about the way the charts work shouldn't we talk about it? I think this was a way for the reporters to make a statement and question a norm/rule that we have just accepted. Trough free media we should be able to rise up questions about things that feel unjust and if u are a public figure yes it might be uncortable but you are a part of these things so be prepared to answer even if u have nothing to do with it then just say that. Also the fact that people say bts is treated wrongly by western media by asking these questions clearly don't want to see how badly western media treats western people too... media is just super toxic to some artist and the amount of suffering that they have endured is crazy. Examples could be Justin Bieber, Britney spears, Michael Jackson ect.

I think chart manipulation isn’t the term for it but they definitely have something because army’s are the biggest fandom so wether people wanna call it that or not its what it is. From the American eye, bts music is loved by teenagers and young adults. They will go out of their way to purchase so much for their idols. In a way, it is manipulating the charts. If it’s based on money, then ofc the biggest fandom will purchase a lot so they can get their recognition by the people for their idol. But also it’s how the music industry has intensive competition. Why do you think artists always say “stream my music” because numbers cannot lie if it’s a top one. N if you’re top one, you get more recognition. wether or not bts armies care to think that, that’s on them. I don’t argue. It’s as clear as day. Now I will say after they made their first English track, their music has definitely become really mid. Bts music back then, and bts music now is two different groups. When u struggle, you pour your heart and soul out into the work you do, when you’re rich and famous, you still do it but you don’t do it as passionate as you did when you first start out. And it’s okay! but what’s not okay is tryna defend it like you haven’t changed. N it’s why the fandom is extremely toxic

Imma also get this next thing off my chest. Is it really disrespectful to ask about plagiarism and chart manipulation? I understand that it ain't an easy topic to talk about, but when it comes to plagiarism, I think its fair to talk about it. Talk about how one came up with the artpeice/idea in the first place? Is it really disrespectful to ask about exploiting the charts? I think it's a fair question to ask. The armys were mass buying albums, and mass streaming their stuff. If there's a unsusual and obvious ratio leading them to #1 then it's fair to question them. Lastly, the western media is tough on everybody and WILL talk about controversial topics, if foreign artists and their fanbases can't handle it then they should stay at home country. Welcome to the west, we treat everyone the same around here which leads to my next gripe. Because of the ridiculous outrage after outrage, especially from the armys, you can easily see how the media tip toes over BTS (or even talk about them). You notice whenever other artists are asked about BTS, many just say something nice and simple to avoid conflict with their fanbase and leave it at that. The armys are good at burning bridges for BTS, imo. The only time I felt like armys have a right to be mad was when Jimmy Fallon made racist jokes, Joe Budden straight up said he hates them, and when Kanye's producer for Donda randomly shaded them over a tweet about losing a Grammy even though BTS had nothing to do with that.

Their recent James Corden one was bad. It was awkward as hell and put that man on the spot on live television because the fans wanted an apology. The weird thing was that BTS actually encouraged Corden to speak up about the joke he made during the interview, and then when he did the members said that it was alright. So why make the guy get all nervous and be on the spot anyways if the members themselves understood it was a light joke? The whole thing has since left a bad taste in my mouth. About the impact of ARMY on BTS, and the impact of BTS on ARMY. No one thinks about how all of this affected James Corden or other celebrities and idols when it comes to BTS. Other people matter just as much as the members of BTS so stop treating them like babies and like they are the only artists who have a voice.

Oh, point of Beatles Code’s thing, which is not fair, is that one of the hosts is Shindong, a member of Super Junior, that is part of SM. And who is also part of SM? EXO

Namjoon and Suga arose from the KOREAN Hip-Hop community so of course they want their respect because they are/was their peers. Maybe they are too famous to care now but in that interview they def cared. My point is this wasn't something they were forced to go, they proabably wanted to go and defend themselves.

Tbh Korean media still Hates BTS and try to do everything to put them down (most of the are controlled by the big 3.. So no surprise lmao) like everytime BTS achieves something big, instead of congratulating them on their achievement a new article about their military enlisment pops out.. tbh whatever BTS achieved was because of their hardwork and fans dedication.. they got no help from media or anything.. the Korean industry literally tried sabotaging them so many times.. but still they rose up to the top and its evident that many people are trying to bring them down by trying to tarnish their reputation.. but guess what? BTS will still break records and will remain as the best and most iconic Korean artist in the history.. And talking about chart manipulation we ARMYs buy BTS' music, do everything on our own without relying on the dirty tricks of the American industry.. and them teaching us about chart manipulation whereas their whole industry runs on payola and paid awards is laughable.. like buying streams from a platform or paying radio stations to play an artists songs isn't chart manipulation.. but fans buying the songs of an artist is manipulation LMAO.. & basically the chart manipulation tactic rose up because butter went against a song that was like crazily pushed up by the industry, but still butter manged to block that song from reaching no. 1 and that was all because of ARMYs support.. so obviously industry got mad lmao
