Damn these tips are just golden. So many lessons top glads are giving on KZfaq, on streams, etc, but i gotta say those 4, most simple and just in the right place. I just hit 2100 on my dk, and I feel I can climb higher, cause I always wanted (playing this game since 2005), and listening to you just highlighted for me what I am missing right now to get glad. Cause I'm sure its not that far from me as I was always feeling. Thanks Pwaff!

Great tips, makes complete sense. Thank you I'm don't Arena. I'm preparing for Ranked Blitz in The War Within and since randomness will be a huge factor in that bracket as well I'm watching specific Solo Shuffle videos that will make it even easier to go in with the correct mindset. If WoW had a similar system to League I'd binge those but Blizzard always Blizzyfies so I can improve a lot before I begin adding the LoL perspectives. I truly hope the ranking system gets updated at some point but that's another topic. Anyway, I'm doing my preparations, especially since I know that will be getting into Arena further down the road regardless. Not for rating, but for practice. Having the oldschool Gladiator mindset irl is great. Now I need to put some of it into the game as The Blitz bracket will be going live 2 months from now. Can't wait. I just hope my irl schedule let's me game. Have fun

The tip about defensives is what I needed. Obviously the healer would react with a CD if I let my hp drop. I've been saving it too much for a CC chain later in the game. It's so much better to stay in the lead as long as possible. Like battle stance can be better defensively if you make the opponent run away and struggle to live.

love your videos man. this is dope. I especially can relate to the last tip. a lot of people never want to hear me ( me included xD ) but solo shuffle is just as much as on you as it is other people. never get tilted too hard and just have fun man. the sooner I went from saying oh god this lobby is trash to haha fuck it double rogue lets see what we can do here the sooner I gained rating. it's a fun new mode that really teaches people some of things im sure arena players have had to deal with for years if they werent voiced.

hi. I've been working as a stock trader for a long time and your advice is 100% right and same to my job. In particular, what is more important than tactical things is mindset. In my job, I've only cared about how could i "better decision" and improving it, no matter what the circumstances. I repeated this saying every day: How can I make better decisions than before? I applied that mindset to Arena as well. Even though I'm stuck at 2.6k now, no matter the rating I'm only interested in improving myself. And I was briefly frustrated after losing just now, but your video reminded me. great motivation. Everyone should watch this video, not just arena players!

Good tips I’m going to try . I have gotten mad at the teams I was on lately I lost 150 rating just this afternoon: now that I think of it I’m sure I could have done more to stop or delay losses. If I learn to play as good as I can I’ll climb. Goal right now that I’m new to monk is 1800. Once there I’ll go for 2100. After that I want to perfect as many classes and specs as I can

As a casual player of frost death knight, the climb feels stagnant. I don't feel like I do enough damage to make up for imperfect set ups or for when things don't work (no kill or use of opponent's CC) in the opener. Love the video, got lots to work on.

I struggle to get above 1600 in any arena ...I feel like I win games at about a 50% rate so I never go up ... I've applied these tips and it's felt good knowing you got the interrupt that won you the game... Wish I could watch you play and what your hands are doing lol

What addons do you use for Arena? I see you got big fat team and enemy frames on left and right of your screen, what addon does that? Also what addon do you use for tracking cooldowns? Nice tips, i subscribed!

Not a dk player at all but this is a great video. I have a question but how would you deal with the mindset issue but on the other end of the spectrum? I find I take losses too personally and always blame myself to a detrimental degree where I tilt because I just feel I’m playing terribly.

Oh man. The last one is the icing on the cake dude. If you're oblivious to what's happening to your teammates or what's popping off around you (psyfiend/obelisk/totem/pool), you're only enabling the opposition. People don't climb because they somehow just had it easier. They're climbing because they're doing the things you AREN'T doing. Make improvements, not excuses. Also, I know someone who leaves a solo shuffle match loses rating equal to an 0-6 match but I thought the others wouldn't gain/lose rating?

Needed this vid, I played two games last night and didn’t win a single round bc I was so tilted that no one was dying and I remember thinking “what’s the point of me doing my damage is they just don’t take any” and I gave up. Immediately won my next game because I just calmed down.

Tip 1: play a melee no brain class like DK or monk. That's it!

So one big tip you missed. Just make sure to kill one of the enemies before they kill one of your team. That way you win the round.

ok i get teams but this is solo i cant carry anyone period so don't expect it all everyone does is stuns and heals up and if i become the target i have to deal with what's on me i cant ignore getting hit from behind you die you lose out of 6 people someone has to go i try my damnist not to let it be me I've never played this much pvp and climbing isn't like what you guys do at the top people just do whatever down here . not to mention im getting really tired of blizzard putting horde and alli together i don't trust it and never will every time someone dies they look at me for it forgetting i'm not what we were before the nerfs I've won about half of 1004 matches so i only win about half I'm constantly changing my talents to do something ...i get when i die its me when you die its you.

Solo shuffle is a joke. In the first couple matches endings knows the weakest link and they are the target the whole match.

Bro you say BS things.....i have DMG done 10M more than the second DPS still able to won 1 game loosing 60-70 rating....also same with my healer who outheal the other healer for like 5-10M as well....still 1-2 win....the SOLO shuffle is a huge bullshit.....

The thing is live enough time to do that DMG, specially being a Hunter, battered by 2 melee like a dk,war dk Monk etc By the way what is the name of the addon that pops on your screen that says mind games IS on you for example, thanks for the tutorial.

I hope htey start getting rid of the micro CCs in this game. It's a plague.
