The body was probably kept fresh so when he came back and thawed it with the hair dryer and posed it after literally stiching her eyelids open, putting on makeup and also choosing the right angle and light to make it look believable. Jonathan went looking for Scott to kill him, ordinarily that would mean a life/no parole sentence. What he should have done is file a protective order against Scott though, not kill him! Scott was the ultimate victim here, he lost his life, but I can't help thinking that leaving that note was very ill-thought out though, Scott should have just leave Jonathan be after he got a public brush off on Jenny Jones show.

Not only did they tell Jonathan it was a woman who was the secret crush- they let him think it was his ex wife, who he still loved and was desperately hoping would get back together with him. He’d been trying to win her back during that time, so he really thought it was her. And he made a point to tell them that he was really shy and he absolutely did not want to be a part of anything crazy like a guy being the secret crush. He was humiliated but not for the reasons people try to say. He wasn’t homophobic, he was broken. He was friends with Scott. This wasn’t a man who hated gay people. This was someone who was incredibly shy and vulnerable, who lost the love of his life and was depressed and lonely, got excited when the producers led him to believe she was the one with the crush, he even bought like a new suit, planned a whole night and day with her for after the show, only to be crushed even more and humiliated. Then the note after the fact was the final straw. I’m not condoning or supporting his actions. But I don’t think people realize how broken he was. He called 911. Turned himself in. He was broken.

After the show, Scott was continuously flirting with Johnathan, who was adamant that he was straight. He and that woman he was with on the show, even started a rumor that they went out for drinks after the taping and they all had sex (or Scott and Jonathan did, I can’t remember exactly) and when they got home, 3 days after the taping, Scott left a note with sexual innuendos that just caused Jonathan to lose it. He didn’t want to be harassed about his sexuality especially with whatever Scott and that woman had lied and said happened while they were in Chicago for the show. I’m not saying what Jonathan did was right or that Scott deserved it, but you can only push a man so far when he’s about to be shown on national television with a guy who has a crush on him and was now continuing to cheekily try and sleep with him. Truly don’t think he should’ve won a lawsuit against Jenny Jones or the production, they didn’t push Scott to flirt or write a suggestive note to Jonathan, and they didn’t force Jonathan to do anything sexually with Scott - they simply joked about the surprise of who had a crush on who, that’s the whole point of the show.

It's tragic that the family were denied the money as the show is clearly partly responsible. These 'talk' shows are really despicable as it's like bear bating. Jeremy Kyle over here in the UK was just the same. That got taken off the air because a guest committed suicide 'allegedly' because of how he was portrayed on the show. @@TailsClock it’s not dangerous, I had a night shift job for years, but was always rested beforehand, she on the other hand, had been cooking all day with her family and Then decided to deliver food at ungodly hours at night to other friends and family that didn’t go over. She was tired and we don’t know if she had a little to drink while making food (when my family gets together we do cause it’s a normal little get together) So it could also make someone sleepy. HOWEVER I’m pretty sure it was the texting that did it, only takes a second of not paying attention to end in disaster.

That Jenny Jones thing was f***** up. I was about 17 when that happened. So many things went wrong........The Scott guy shouldn't have left a sexual note for someone that already told him he wasn't interested and definitely wasn't homosexual, and Schmitz could have handled it differently........I'm sure both of them would have chosen a fight, threats.....almost anything else.

Poor Samantha. I wouldn't have been working in that tiny stand alone to begin with but I'm sure she wasn't worried. Don't get in a car. We go over this as a family, a drill, if you will. NEVER get in a car. Ever. Make them shoot you where you stand because if you go, you die anyway. Scream, run, make as much commotion as possible. It's risky, yes. But there's a good chance they won't be expecting it and will run away. If you go, though, there's an even better chance you're going to die.

You’re right, if you’re taken to a secondary position your chance of survival drops to 20%, if they want to take you chances are they want to kill you so fight then and there. Don’t scream unless you know people are near by you’ll waste vital energy you could use in more important ways. Fully comply or fully resist.
