The next step up from a milk frother is an electric frothing pitcher! It heats the liquid too so you can make regular matcha or a latte at the push of a button!

Those are definitely great for making matcha. Mine broke but I loved it because it could do hot or cold.

When I have time I like to blend matcha with ice and oat milk for a frothy slushy creamy matcha. Great Summer beat the heat prep.

I make it hot in a thermos with a built in cup. Then I can give it a good shake and pour a small amount into the little cup. This keeps it from getting cold and allows you to keep it mixed over time. This is not an "all day" solution as the matcha will get oxidized and bitter after a couple of hours.

Nice! I definitely tend to make matcha cold more often when I'm on the go since it's doesn't oxidize as quickly.

Great video😊 I may just try that cocktail shaker cup just to rule out if its necessary to invest in the bamboo whisk Ive had the hardest time trying to decide if I need the bamboo whisk or not, it would be great if I can do without it because of the particulars with the maintenance of it, ughh😂 Ive tried the handheld frother but honestly it didn't seemed blended enough and also I didn't want to overblend it with the handheld frother Ok ok enough talking Thanks again for the suggestions🌸☺️

Thanks! I'm still a chasen fan but shaker cups are great for traveling. There's not too much maintenance other than giving them a good rinse after use.

As someone who wants to "level up" to matcha from my usual green tea, this was a useful video. Most sites seem to suggest half a cup of water per 1/2 teaspoon of matcha. Do people ever increase the water to 8 ounces like I'm use to? Thanks!

So glad it was useful! It very much depends on how you're making it. Most directions are meant to prepare the matcha for a small bowl, similar to what they do for the Japanese tea ceremony. For an 8oz cup I'd use 1 teaspoon of matcha. Whisk into a small amount of water first and then add more once it's well incorporated.
