- Method 1 shows you a good way to slice your finger / hand open while also being a terrible way to open the lock. With that gap size you can easily fit a paperclip in there and accomplish the same in a safer way. - Method 2 shows you a good way to waste your time senselessly (and LOUDLY) destroying while alerting everyone to your misdeeds. - Method 3 shows you a good way to disassemble a hard drive for some lovely strong magnets. Also shows how to display a magnet on a lock from all angles, then horribly cut away to a sudden "release" of the lock (which, if you look closely, you can clearly see that this is now the lock AFTER method 2 was used to weaken the lock, and the magnets now cover up the holes) - Method 4 shows you how any good title can be used as clickbait for all manner of shitty and useless videos.

You're right JMc, I'd also like to point out these are rebranded cheap chinese padlocks, terrible quality, made to low tolerances and easy to pick anyway, some of them will snap open if you hit the side with a 2 oz hammer.

Not all locks do that. Not all locks are easy. Not all locks break. Not all locks open with crowbar or spanners Not all locks are pickable. When struggling, a properly sharpened masonary drillbit will go through any lock in the right place. Properly sharpened meaning that it is sharpened in the way a HSS bit is done. And it will go through almost any material known to man. Takes a long while and a lot of patience to sharpen it that way...

I'm sure the first one would work out fine on luggage locks like that. As for the production you have to go through for the grinder/drill and magnet operations, hammers are cheaper and work much faster.
