In this video men's style, grooming, fitness and lifestyle expert, Aaron Marino of www.iamalpham.com www.aaronmarino.com www.peteandpedro.com, shows you 4 simple ways to wear your favorite chinos. This is a chino tutorial, 4 simple ways to dress up and dress down your chino pants.
A chino is a casual cotton pants. The chino is an incredibly versatile option which works great with a lot of options. You can dress it up and down but it's not appropriate for business casual. Aaron Marino of alpha m. advises a khaki pant for business casual in the office.
Styling the Chino
Each look features the same slim fit chino from The GAP. Alpha discusses each look as well as alternative items for each look.
1. Casual summer day - pants cuffed, leather flip flops, summer belt, white v-neck shirt; Polo and fashion sneaks as alternatives
2. Dressed-up casual - different belt, canvas or Chuck Taylor sneakers, fitted button-down blue oxford
3. Fall look - leather chukkas or desert boots, simple navy v-neck
4. Denim shirt - monk straps with matching belt and tie; remove tie and go casual -

Dude you totally rock! I haven't bought chinos yet because I could never figure out how to wear them and thought they were for skinny guys (I'm a bodybuilder/power-lifter) but now I know how I can rock them too!

Hey Alpha.. big fan of your videos... In the Caribbean (Jamaica ) a lot of guys in the office wear chinos. (Dockers/ Gap/ Tommy Hilfiger). You iron them and you're good to go with a dress shirt or a dress shirt & tie. The fact that they are flat front and there are different colours... makes it easy to incorporate... the days of ' fisherman looking pleated chinos are now over.

I ve been watching your videos for a couple of years now and I know you said you cannot justify buying an expensive watch because you grew up not having a lot of money.However, its nice to see u awarded yourself with a killer Milgauss for all the hard work you ve put in order to make us guys feel better about ourselves.I only hope its a beginning of a watch collecting habit of yours because once the watch bug bites there is literally no cure !

I love wearing chino's and there are so many ways you can dress them up/down. I really liked the outfits, especially the first one. The only outfit I didn't like was the last one with the denim shirt, because the shirt just doesn't fit properly.

Thanks for the video, great ideas. I am going back to TJ Maxx and by all of there different color Levi's. I guess they are considered chinos to? II really love that denim shirt. The color coordination with the dark colors and Browns omg I love them so much. I love your videos I watch them and dress my son he is 22. He calls me his styles, lol. +Foxx Edits Literally don't concern yourself with that. A guy of any body type can still dress well. You may not pull it off as well as this guy for example, but then you're making the number one mistake of comparing yourself to someone else. A fortunate thing about being a guy is how we dress matters more than our physic.

As speaking from someone who is also very slim, wear slim clothes (be cautious and don't get them ridiculously tight). It gives the illusion you're bigger because you fit your clothes better. In the winter layering is also a good option. Instead of just wearing a big coat, try wearing a sweater with a lighter weight jacket over it. I'd also stay away from everyday t-shirts as they tend to make us skinny guys look even skinnier. Gustin makes some really nice fitting t-shirts. All their clothes are nice but they nail the T-shirt fit.

I would highly recommend to anybody to check out Forever 21(21 Men) and/or H&M for affordable and stylish clothing. Sure, some(most) of their clothing is "trendy" and really flamboyant but, if you search thoroughly, you will find some great staple pieces for a great price!

Question. Chinos and length. What do you consider to be an acceptable length for chinos worn with, say, a pair of leather chukka boots in a casual to (maybe) office casual configuration? One break?
