Welcome to Everything Computerised. I'm CA and in this video I'll be going to explain you the Data Manipulation Language (DML) in detail and the different commands present in it.
There are 4 commands in DML. These are SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE and DELETE. I'll explain everything in detail, so watch this video till end.

instead of SELECT * FROM table_name; you can use DESC table_name; or just desc table_name

DESC tableName; is used to describe a table. It lists out the columns and its characteristics like data type, keys, etc. If you want to view rows, then you have to use SELECT only. Hope this helps. 🙂

thank you very much, while coding i got one message in SQL, it showed some number of warnings, it came like (no.of warnings:2), what does it mean, any idea??

That's a thing you don't need to worry about when you are learning sql.. Warnings occurs when there's a better way to do something... For example, its better to define size in int data type, which usually we dont do when we are to learn sql.. But when we master it and use it for actual production stuff, then we consider that.. So, u can just ignore it.. softwares get updated very often, thereby obsoleting old stuff and adding new ones.. and as a student, we dont actually have to worry about minor things, until there's a considerable noticeable update.. But yes, if we are to use Mysql in our software project as a tool, then we have to look into every minor and major change! Hope you get a clear view of this now! 🙂

Yes.. I've explained in the vdo.. Infact, only single quotations are supported in most DBMS. Example - 'Everything Computerized'
