4 Year Review: Kensgrove 72" LED Ceiling Fan YG493OD

That remote has a lot of functions you probably would not need a lot of things can go wrong with a remote like that you really just need low medium and high and light on and off.

Can I bypass the down rod? Can I install this without?

Has anyone had any luck in finding a brighter light source for this fan? This fan is in our den and it does not put out enough light. Thanks in advance.

Trying to figure out how to re-connect my controller. My light just quit working and the controller shows no signs of trying to signal it. This fan come to find out has a lot of terrible reviews on Home Depot’s website. Wish I had read them.

It has been in my uninsulated garage for four years now with no issues, the temperature in there ranges from 20 (winter) to 100+ (summer) degrees F. I am sure if used indoors it will be perfectly fine.

We had this fan installed about 18 months ago. We love it. But it now makes a single "thunk" sound when we turn it on. Has anyone experienced this? Any clues on how to fix the problem?

I bet a magnet is starting to come off the inside of the motor, take it apart and epoxy glue it back
