I can imagine how the people of the Shang dynasty must have cooked and eaten turtles, because they got oracle bone scripts on turtle bones. What I wonder about is how they had those turtles in inland China?

Looks delicious. I guess it may just be me but even when I eat pork ribs, if the bone is soft enough I eat them too. The same for whole fried perch. Wish I was there Uncle. 👍

They remind me of the komodo dragon they eat every thing that isnt nailed down. I like to see them eat a shell of a snapping turtle. 150 pounds.

Я ела черепаху, змею и крокодила во Вьетнаме на экскурсии на острова. А лягушки там продаются в супермаркете, я покупала и варила русский суп из них
