If your in America or Canada it should be 60 hz that you are hearing. 50 hz everywhere else.

This specific tone is perfect for helping me fall asleep, but I wish I could find this exact 40hz sine wave for longer than 1 minute. others dont sound exactly like this, and 40hz gamma waves makes my head hurt.
