Do you remember the 1989 #BreedersCup Classic?
It was the showdown for the Horse of the Year title when Kentucky Derby and the Preakness Stakes winner Sunday Silence met Belmont Stakes winner Easy Goer at Gulfstream Park in the Breeders’ Cup Classic. Sunday Silence, ridden by Chris McCarron, got the jump on his in the stretch and held off the furious charge of Easy Goer to prevail by a neck.

That's one of my favorite horse's: The Late Great Sunday Silence!! He was a great runner!! He and Easy Goer was neck and neck in a many classic races!! It was one of the most, exciting Breeders Cup Races in years!! May they both, Rest In Peace!! Loved both of them!! We miss you!!
