Awsome, and when you get off that you can apply for a pardon and be set up for complete redemption. That's where I am now, and just knowing it's in progress makes me feel amazing about all the hard work I've done on myself in the last several years. I've one step closer to redemption for me. . and I want a gun. 🤣 I live alone with my dog so that's the only reason, I promise! I'm not telling the pardon board that, though. 🤣🤣 Best of 🍀 to you! 🤗

My uncle did time here, I remember taking trips out to this prison with my grandmother to go see him. When you a kid you just dont understand what prison is other than a really long time out.

Yup. We got foster kids who’s dad is in prison. They gotta drive 7 hours each way just to visit him. They definitely don’t understand what prison is though and when they act out they’ll say “I want to go to jail with my dad” lol

4 years sober never again will I touch a drink that stolen so much time from me I'm now 40 and finally am able to get my life together and have my daughter back in my life along with the rest of my family. Thank God for AA and the people who told me I needed to get my shit together or they was walking away. Life isn't great and I'm not rich but what I have is more than what I had

@Squeech Squeechins i have a new addiction in my life. I drive truck over the road home every weekend. On my weekends I enjoy working on my Harley Davidson fat boy dressing her up doing routine maintenance or taking long rides with my wife enjoying our time together. I'm glad to hear you found your way and you have family who loves you and needs you in their life it's important to realize and know that life is more peaceful without drugs or alcohol. My Grandpa was a Navy man from WW2...and his arms were all tatted up. He drilled into my head from 8 years old on never to get tatts. He said the same thing about getting older. If they judge u now think about how they judged him 40-50 years ago. Im almost 60 now and hes gone a long time. But the reason i don't have a single tatt is because of him. Thanks Grandpa.

Crazy guys like that old man is exactly why I carry a 9 with me 24/7. He probably wanted to go back to prison when he randomly robbed and stabbed the 80 yo. There are crazy ppl out there and if you don’t have a felony you need to exercise your gosh damn rights to protect yourself and your family

I can’t imagine spending 40 years in a Max prison . Any prison would be brutal for 40 years . Lost all the best years of life. I did 18 months and it felt like 5 years to me .

i did 90 days in a county jail, and got released after pleading guilty to a couple felonies...the hardest part was not having a release date, and knowing there was a real possibility I'd be going to the pen

@@commandingsteel I got lucky but still spent 30 days on a 500 bond. Got a felony charge of criminal mischief dropped to a misdemeanor. Had probation for 3 years but they allowed me to leave the state I'm guessing since it was misdemeanor probation. Just sent 50$ a month to pay restitution and a small questionnaire for the month.

These videos are amazing for anyone who has a loved one or had been in prison to realize the hell these people have to endure while incarcerated. No one really understands until they are in there and it’s your life your trying to protect against all around you. My son has done 2 stints in last 6 years and went in at 17, he is 23 and on an ankle monitor, and I feel for what he had to grow up in due to bad decisions. Keep banging these videos, I know these guys look up to you, keep preaching positivity death!

Me too, but I haven't drank in 6 like 6 years it's possible and I promise I was the worst of the worst and thought it was bc I'm Irish bc that is what I was told growing up. Told I would just have to manage "the Mcguire curse well" what a load of bs that is and I'm equally an opiate addict too I would be at the liquor store when it opened and then head straight to the dope man. I had to feed both monsters all day every day and haven't touched anything since 9 19 19, and I know you can do it too! Now, I work with non-profits that help fund others in treatment and recovery programs. Best of 🍀 to you ! 🤗

You should make a educational video on this stuff for people who been incarcerated to help us catch up. Thank you for your work man. Give people hope and watching these help my anxiety about dealing with civilian life.

@Chris M thank you! I'm going to start a channel I think. I was deported from Canada because i was there illegaly and caught 26 federal trafficing charges. The Canadian federal government sent C.b b.a.'s intelligence division after me. Which are in between what a cia oficer would be and a fed in USA. I might be able to help other people by telling my story.

Sure yeah but also get in it for the right reasons. Telling your story is a good motivaion, but don't be disheartened if you don't get a lot of eyes on you. Doing some interviews like on this channel coul help but in the end there is only so much prison content demand on youtube and there are already a ton of channels. As soon as it becomes only about the number going up an chasing success it can become all kinds of bad for many reasons, especially because you almost guaranteed are not going to as succesful as Lockown 23&1. All the best to you though.

My step mom gave me a speed pill when I was 12 years old and I spent the next ten years doing drugs and going in and out of juvenile detention centres then jails. Lucky I got clean and straighten out before I did any pen time.

Ah yes, good old Ross. Never been to that one personally. But many of my best friends (brothers) have been. I've been to the prison directly across the highway from Ross known as Chillicothe correctional institution. I hear good things😂

My kids father did time in Ross County, back in the day. Matter of a fact, in this same episode, one of the CO's asked " if it was Skaggs?" or something like that. Happens to be may kids fathers last name. Made me wonder?? But honestly, the infamous prison here in Ohio is Lucasville. During the riot on Easter Sunday in 1993, my kids father was in the midst of the riot. Thank God, he made it out to the rec area. Many lost their lives, many we'll never hear about. I had many CO friends who were called in to help during the riot. And yes, "they" don't tell us everything!!

I almost went when I was 18, hadn’t graduated highschool yet..my buddies and I weren’t troublemakers, but we did love exploring abandoned houses (we live in the country so they’re pretty common)..we knew we were trespassing but had no idea it was burglary too..we got locked up, charged with burglary..I’ll never forget waiting on the trial, I saw everything I wanted my life to be crumbling in front of me..luckily they dropped it to trespassing and let us go with a ticket..I won’t even think about bending the law now

That sounds awful. Hopefully you can kick it sooner than later, alcohol ruins your body and especially your brain. Maybe Banzo assisted withdrawal? But getting clean is the easy part. Handling life an staying clean is the hard part. ALl the best from a recovering heroin addict.
