I honestly think that that building off the shore of Manhattan is the perfect spot for BEME office and your studio. I've been wanting to have my own studio near the sea, but unfortunately my place is very far from the shore.

I took a lighting and sound design last semester at my high school and the moving lights are so fun to work with! Definitely a nerd for cool light designs with them and all the things you can make them do

What happens when you can't choose who you work with

5:00 wrap them in clothe tape that is used for hockey handles. I wrap lots of camera gear in that to protect and sound deaden; parts of the body, lens and hoods... and even those things. Cut thin piece and wrap tight against body. Can still attach strap, but makes no noise.

The sound of a lightsaber is a typical Tuesday night for me...My husband has to go thru all his custom lightsabers to “test” it. I get brownie points for supporting his dreams and sacrificing my sleep. Lol.

I agree, it's a nice spot. But it's prone to flooding, wouldn't want that to happen!! Plus the convenience of your current studio is very close to Beme, and that would take a lot of time to move out.
