Microcrocheting has recently become a hyperfixation for my ADHD. I cannot even fathom actually joining 400 micro granny squares, let alone how many you're actually gonna need for a human-sized blanket! Kudos to you for getting this far! Looking forward to the update when it's done!!

After I went through a traumatic event, I started crocheting granny squares until I felt better. It was my first actual project. I made a huge blanket, and the squares at the bottom are looser and bigger than the squares at the end where I had become a pro. I decided to leave it as is because it shows how I started to heal and get better at crochet

I too have adhd. I learned to stay with stuff. You can train yourself to get up, walk around or excercise for 3minutes and then get right back to your task. It gets easier and easier but it takes effort at first. Or you can crochet when you go into a " super-focus" state (if you get those). There are things that help like mct oil and multi-phasic sleep schedule (eg; 22- 2.30. 13-13.30 and 19-19.30) KZfaq is full of helpfull suggestions for dealing with adhd. Its worth trying some of them.@@AlicesHeartz

Working on my first blanket. Its taking a long time and lots of yarn. Its in one big peice and the stitch im using makes it curl. Ive made it past having to uncurl it everytime I crochet. Its maybe 1/4 they way done. Its about a queen size but only enough to cover the surface of a bed, not the sides. Its been fun making it, and I can't wait to finish. Its a gift to my mom, but my relationship has gotren a bit rocky with her. However, I'm hoping things will be better by the time I finished. If not, I'll still give it too her since she paid for all the yarn and holding on to something like that will just be a reminder of what was. Fingers crossed for the best.
