Glad mentioned about small wind, because of false claims of overrated outputs! 1700 watts out of a few pounds of copper!

Thank You for the great information. I have heard of rectifiers before. Yours is a contrller/ rectifier. would that be needed to hook to the inverter then to the grid? or would a regular rectifier be good? Yes! You are right, I know very little about it. Again Thank You. Y

That controller box with the dump load and rectifier. Is that a charge controller? Or something else? Any help from You wold be great.

I know you said that they don't make that inverter any more,,, what model was it ? I'm trying to find one for my Vertical Tesup turbine,,

I like the controller you have together with the dump load. As a matter of fact I am planning to put up a grid tied turbine. I know your controller breaks the turbine as soon as the grid goes down. Where do I get one ? Could you send me a link or the brand ? Kind regards Arie

i got mine from beawindhog. you can find the kits on aliexpress as well. it was alot more work than i originally thought to do the full install.

With 45 MPH winds blowing, I see you are generating only 2,786 Watts, from a 4,000 watt Wind Turbine. Is the Wind Turbine furling and/or is the brake on and/or is the Dump Load on ? Does your Wind Turbine generate 4,000 watts ( rated full power ) at 25 MPH?

also from what i have read, grid tied turbines will put out less than if it were hooked to a battery bank. i cant verify that though.

no, the manufacturer says 4000 watts, but like many turbines it is very overrated. more like 1500 watts @ 25mph. this turbine likes the higher winds. if i wasnt in a very windy area, i would probably be disappinted in the performance as it doesnt really come alive until 30-35mph. also it would be beneficial to be up another 20 feet. my house is quite tall and i do get some wash if the wind comes from certain directions. for the $ i am happy with the unit so far.

ive watched alot of your vids. based on my limited experience with this large turbine, those small ones must be insanely overrated!
