I feel very sorry for the grandparents... being put in a position to have to give up their own money ,time and resources to someone who deliberately and artificially had themselves inseminated because they wanted kids they could not afford . They originally probably thought they were going to have normal grandparent experiences... where they see the grandchildren when they want and sometimes have them sleepover ... instead of feeling like 14 kids were forced on them in their old age.... I will never forget the face of Octomom's dad.... that poor old guy looked devastated and exhausted.... and like he had the weight of the world on his shoulders .

What? Mad that she didn't abort? What a dumb thing to say. I don't think people are mad that she kept them but more so about the fact that she went through with IVF in the first place despite already struggling with 6 kids. Not to mention all the money she spent on plastic surgery and being on welfare. Taxpayers money goes to this woman and it was irresponsible on her part to have so many kids deliberately. Personally I don't really care ..I don't really like the woman but her story is interesting. Hopefully her kids turn out alright as adults Time will tell.

Actually I do see a loving person who is gracious and hasn't lost her sense of humor... you're seeing an older woman who is having to give up her own money and resources to support someone who has been Way Beyond irresponsible . God is good all the time. The children are 10 years old healthy happy and polite. This gran mother before she died praised her daughter and was so thankful for all 14 babies in the end. I came from a family of 7 kids... it was not as much fun as some people might think.... a friend of mine had seven kids... a lot of problems in that family where all the kids had to see shrinks . If you're going to have a big family ..do one thing first : make sure that you don't have to ever worry about money first . And if you can't afford to live a really good life and give your kids a really good life because of money problems and don't have a big family . There's not a lot of fun growing up in a big poor family . People who say money doesn't matter don't know what they're talkin about . Poverty creates all kinds of problems . Why anyone would want to have a big family is beyond me... but hey to each his own... have fun never having any free time to yourself and waking up in the middle of the night one day when you realize this is your nightmare for God knows how many more years before all your kids are grown up .
