So I removed the stock motor and sea king 180 and installed a promarine/TFL 300amp esc, you can actually order this boat with this esc from the factory, maybe I should of done that, It can Also be ordered with a sss4092 or sss56mm motor.
She needs some adjustments will work on it in the future and maybe even try 10s, so stay tuned and as always thanks for watching.

Hi. Thanks for the video. I have ordered the same promarine 300A ESC 3S-16S, however I cannot find any instructions or the utility PC software for it. Is some able to point me in the right direction. I would like to power limit the ESC.

Don’t suppose you know what the small black wire that is connected to the ESC is for? I just got a HD Zonda and I can’t figure out what that wire is for

It's for anti spark. It will help preload the capacitors so when you plug it in you won't get that spark. You don't have to use it, not really necessary on 6s, on high voltage systems like 10 or 12s it would be more beneficial.

No problem, make sure you supply power to the RX or the esc's won't work, they don't have internal bec.

For most applications You can use an external bec (castle creations make some) or a battery, I use an old school 6.0v nimh , you can also use a 6.6v life pack. On some RX units you can use a small 7.4v 2s lipo.

Run her on 10 or 12 or bump the kv a little higher on 8. Looking forward to see what comes out of her.

I'll try 10 but this thing is nowhere near its potential on 8. The reason i went with this kv is because I actually wanted to run this battery after battery, full runs without worring about temps not just speed passes.

Im a lil farther than that but that's ok at least unleaded is cheap right now.
