Today I'm creating a ribbon pour on one of my favorite size surfaces, an 8 x 24 inch deep canvas, using elegant metallics as my colors. Exact colors and recipe used is detailed below. I'm the caboose in today's collaboration, but if you missed any of the previous videos, here are the links:

Everything is currently 20% off!
Today's colors are Artist's Loft Black, Metallic Black, White, Metallic Bronze and Master's Touch Gold. They were mixed one part paint to two parts of the following pouring medium plus water as needed (the white base was mixed one part paint to two parts Floetrol).
Pouring Medium (Dan Hodges' Recipe):
3 Parts Floetrol
3 Parts Minwax Polycrylic
2 Parts Glue/Water Mix (3:1)

Fantastic piece, Chris! I'm glad you put those thinner ribbons on top. They look great. I really should use bronze more often. I love it with those other colours! An unusual pour and I like it Chris ! “You are the ribbon pourer.” In this particular piece I see the eyes of a person in the center just below the “silvery” color which I am seeing as flowing hair. Then again I’m sure others see many other things. The thing I have always enjoyed about your ribbon pouring is how much depth it brings your work regardless of what you paint. I was introduced to your channel by Gina DeLuca, she mentioned how you ran ribbons across some of your pours and when I started watching you I enjoyed that aspect of your artwork. You do many lovely embellishments as well. I hope that all makes sense to you ! 🙏🙏

Love it Chris! I'm getting bayou vibes from this. Looks like a bald cypress tree. Maybe do some critters from that area? I must invest in some of that polycrylic, it really does some nice ribbons. Mine are always loose and sloppy. The colour combo is nice too! xx
