an exceptional pigeons shooting outing for necessary crop protection, neighbouring fields freshly drilled and this one due to be drilled when the weather allows so we want to lessen the numbers of pigeons to protect the up and coming crops.
do not watch if this pest control video will offend you.
and also don't watch if swearing offends you! 😄

Yeah 420 of them did but to be honest there were several that didn't. Trouble is as I said when you have so many laid out there it makes the pattern look less appealing so we either go out every 15 minutes to tidy up or just suck it and see. We went out every hour for a tidy up, but at the busy point we shot 90/hr and we did that for 3 hours running so you can imagine how messy it got. I'm not complaining though 😄

Thanks. I got it from a fishing tackle shop actually. It's brilliant. It will hold 500 at a push but I usually just put 450 in. It's made from a tough, flexible and waterproof material so it's perfect for the hide. Excellent day mate get a few myself but others that shoot the land threaten to report me for missing pricked birds and stay of them government drugs they ain’t good.

Thanks. Ye we've a few around here at the minute, Lincs. But they come and go, they've been gone a while but they're back....for now.

Nice shooting, finding mine a bit reluctant at the moment but had the big days, not that big. Problem this year is farmer spreading slurry day after harvest and reseeding within 48 hours. A few 100 plus but tally down this year.

Yeah thanks, to be honest if the weather was right for the farmer, this would have been pulled over and re-drilled by now, hence the need to try and get the pigeons gone. But the weather's holding the job up for now. We might have to have another go at them in a week or so
