The photo of the mother carrying her children on her head was astounding. I could not imagine how that felt for the very strong tiny woman.

7:53 is not of Jews. It is a pict of kids who were working in the mines when that was sill legal. Most of the picts here are interesting.

The photo at 7:54 is not of the Warsaw Ghetto. Being found with smuggling food could sometimes mean a death sentence, so they wouldn't have been laughing. They were trying to hide from the Germans, so they wouldn't have had headlights. The headlights are standardized which would have been highly unlikely in the Ghetto where everything was difficult to find. They would have lined up all the boys together including the one on the right and the one on the left. Although there were Aryan-looking Jews, it would have been very unusual to see so many together. The Nazis would not have allowed such a jocular pose.

Things like this always fascinated me. When I had both of my children I saved the whole news paper from the city and the date they were born. My son was in 1969 and my daughter was in 1981. Is fun to look back at the price of things and how much apartments and cars were going for. I have them in a picture frame.

The conjoined twins are heartbreaking! I wonder, though. Had they gone on and gotten separated when Margaret was diagnosed with cancer, would Mary have gotten sick anyhow? It’s so unusual the way their bodies work when conjoined like this. So many things are unclear. Now Abby and her sister recently got married and all the oglers and naysayers are gossiping about privacy in their marriage.
