This is a beautiful Palm Beach beach you’ve created! Having lived in Palm Beach County for over 50 years and now in St Lucie County, I must say the east coast of Florida has some scenic beaches. I have so many photos of them and hope through these tutorials that I too will learn how to paint them.

Hi, I'm new to painting. I just finished the painting last night. The video is so helpful. Thanks. I'm having trouble deciding whether to use matte or gloss varnish on it. Want to know your opinion

Everybody is different and has different taste your likings might be different to mine but you can try both of them paint one painting in Matt varnish and another one in gloss varnish and choose what you feel you prefer to have yours looking like

Hi Ian I’m still working on Lavender Water. I had a little problem with the flowers but I’m practicing on another smaller canvas for the flowers. I know I can do it and I keep watching your tutorial. Ian can you tell me what number of that flat brush your using on this tutorial. Thank you Barbara
