This video is the first part of 2 devoted to the favorite scenes of the Main Cast of hit show "Dallas", which became 45 last April 2, 2023. Optional subtitles available. See below the titles of the documentaries used for this special.

The whole series is available on DVD through Warner and also on streaming for Apple TV+ in US. Soon also on Blu-ray in its remastered version.

'Dallas' was such an integral part of my growing up, and will always hold a special place in my heart and memories. Watching the pilot episode as a preteen with my Mom, it was the first of many episodes and other Supersoaps to follow the we enjoyed through those years together along with other friends and family and apparently many other fans! It really did an amazing job of covering some very important issues, in a poignant and real way. The writing and acting were superb! Great tribute to David Jacobs, Super Talent and Special person!

I wasn’t alive when DALLAS came out but I’m so glad I got into this series, some of the best writing that television has ever seen with some of the best characters created! I love the main cast a ton and thought they all brought so much to the show! I loved that the show could bring together entertainment, life lessons, and shock value and tie them in a bundle!

What I really LOVE about Dallas is, that this was all real acting with real and good actors. All of them are/were brilliant. It was not only about good looking and having fancy clothes like Dynasty.

David Jacob's favorite scene from the show is also mine. I can't watch it without welling up. A close second is when J.R. looks up at the sky holding Jock's lion medallion at the end of the episode "The Search." An honorable mention is the closing scenes in the episode "Bypass." Having undergone bypass surgery myself, that episode hits much closer to home for me now than it did back then.

Awwww Bobby & Pam. A couple you genuinely wanted to overcome the obstacles and stay together. My mother wept buckets over Bobby's death (even more than Ali McGraw in Love Story). They did the scene really well wringing out the emotion. It was the wrong decision to kill him outright and an even worse decision to resurrect him from the dead. No wonder Pam buggered off!

After 1985-86, all social issues storylines were axed. Something like "Tony", the mastectomy would never happen again. Oh, and Susan Howard did not like Patrick Duffy coming back.

Your channel is great and always fun to watch. Your narrative pieces do flash by rather quickly though. You took the time to do the research, give your audience a few extra seconds to actually read them. Take care!
