You could get these effects with various colour additives, be sure to experiment on a smaller scale to test.

I haven’t seen anyone use Silicone oil with resin. The effects are beautiful and watching the resin move and transform is mesmerizing thank you for sharing

You said you don’t think you’d need a final layer of clear if you did a deeper pour as long as you clean off the oil. You really do though because the silicone oil can leave little divots on the surface where it pools (the bits of oil you needs to off. A top coat takes care of that.

Christy's really awesome, isn't she? A true artist, with so much creativity going on in her head, all the time. 😊 I'm really loving what you did here, Daniel! This is COOL - and fun and beautiful! You have been such an inspiration to me in my own resin journey. Mainly because of your willingness to take risks, I found my own courage to experiment. For me, that's really big. I was raised to be "perfect", not allowed to mess up much. Made me a scared little girl, to try anything new for fear of not getting something right. Thank you for helping me to have fun. 😊

Yes, having only watched that one video, I knew Christy was a true artist. I really do understand that pressure you had, I felt the same once, I oftenly feel it now. We just need to find ourselves and put others expectations aside. If we can help eachother, and feel a sense of appreciation, knowing we have helped others, it's a much better feeling than power.x

Wow...you get it. Didn't expect that, but I should've. You're an artist, as am I, as are most of the resin creators whom I watch. We seem to have an "odd kick to our gallop", according to large parts of Society...parents, especially. Apparently, Academics is what matters. :shudder I'm so glad you were able to set aside the expectations of others and focus on YOU. I wish I had had the bravery to do that as a young person. I'm now an old-ish granny, with a lot of regrets.

A suggestion if I may? When you added the lighter blue dots at 18:46 it reminded me of a turtle shell. Maybe use green with a little green mica powder (to add a hint of shimmer) and a yellow and stop at this point to see if it ends up looking like a turtle shell. It would be cool to see if it works. It would make a great necklace if it did. Thank you for inspirations. Keep it up. You are appreciated!

It's an embossing tool if I'm not mistaken. I'm currently trying to figure out what to do with the silicone paint I got that's labeled as being for use in epoxy resin. All I can seem to find are videos similar to yours where silicone is added separate from color

The red & yellow top one looked like a colored xray of teeth when you added the oil.

It's like putting food coloring in milk than dabbing Dawn into it. The Dawn moves the fat of the milk and makes amazing swirls.
