In most cultures you get more than one weapon in duels but samurais had a personal relationship with theirs and getting disarmed was a huge disrespect so probably not

The only reason Keanu lost because he noticed that his enemy was a dog lover. His entire life was in peril so Keanu decided to lose.

The golem was a contruct, so just like Kyle shaming Lord Asano in the eyes of the Shogun when uncovered because he isn't a samurai, Lord Kyra should have been dishonored as well. If he had won and killed Kyle, at some moment the Shogun would have requested it to remove the helmet to see the champion's face, moment that would reveal the truth because there was no head under, just a sorcery powered animated armor.

More to do with him being a cross breed. He would never the considered a samurai, because he is a mongrel. Which is why it's "nice" at the end that he is treated as one and allowed to commit sepuku.

@@falseinnocence7937 wow. Your solution is to "get the other guy tired" by doing a lot of running. He'll only tire himself. Just because the enemy is big does not mean he has no stamina.

His opponent is bigger and heavier therefore he consumes more stamina. “Running” circles around a bigger opponent like this one is a viable strategy. Plus his weapon and armor seem heavier than Keanu’s too so it also consumes more energy to swing and move around.

Well tbf it's not an Anime sword. Katana aren't known for being strong and sturdy sword and aren't meant to be used directly on heavy armours like an heavy sword but More on as a delicate,fast,swift and lethal strikes on flesh parts.
