Salute to the hardworking couple but in the Philippines there's no such thing of transferring soil to fill in watery land area. We have vast tracts of dried lands that there's no need to fill in lands which are submerged in water in only to plant coconuts.

This video was most informative. Now I see why the boats carry sand and I understand what the two motors in the bow of so many boats are for. I love to see a couple work together as this couple do. She is a trouper; she works just as hard as her husband. We need to appreciate our wives. They have a precious little girl. Now for a silly question: Is there any danger of snakes or crocodiles in that water?

I imagine an endless process of rain washing sand into the river, where it's dredged out by these incredibly hard working folks, and redeposited on either side to farms and whatnot...
