I would so visit Hong Kong just for the ginger milk and double skin milk puddings! I particularly love the ginger milk pudding. I am glad that you like then too.

Green vegetables at the clay pot rice place looks like ong choy. Served with a small amount of fermented bean curd.

Really enjoyed this 48-hr blitz. You seem to have more luck with the desserts than some of the main meal stops. Shame about the claypot rice place not delivering the crispy bottom - sometimes the hype is bigger than the catch. Glad your Mum found a lot of the food to her liking though!😊

Chili oil on egg sandwich, something very new to me 😂😂😂. I go hk for the food , to me, they are the top 3 best countries for food , even better than my home country (sorry , but just my personal preferences). Like your honest opinions, now I know which one is a must-go. Lin hiang lao is the best place to experience the local vibes… certain dishes were very good , some not to my liking , but I went often because of the feel of the locals, seems like nowadays there is more tourists (incl myself)

A bit awkward to see your mum and aunt wait for you to try the roast goose as they kept playing with the noodles 😅 I passed by the Baked House every day when I was in HK but didn't want to queue. Quality Chinese sausages have an alcohol after taste. If you are still in HK, you have to try the Wing Wah sausages.

The claypot rice didn't look good. Too bland. The rice is still white & not enough sauce & sesame oil, not crispy at the bottom.

Honestly bakehouse is not famous at all before covid Nov 2019…no lines..now long qeue are normal..
