Thanks always to the people with the foresight to preserve evidence. Seemingly relevant or not. The people who adamantly pursue these cases. The people who look at a cold case and get it in their teeth and shake it. And to the loved ones and survivors…some comforts if you are still waiting…or one heck of a blessed reunion on the other side🌹

Johnny was our paperboy. I was only 6, but I still remember him clearly. He was a good kid who always stopped to talk with me ans my friends even though we were younger. He made us laugh and then one day my mom and dad sat my brother and I down to tell us Johnny would not be our paperboy anymore. They told us he was killed but spared us the details. I remember crying because he was so nice to us. I still remember his friendly freckled face joking with us.

Breaks me because he would have had a loving family to this day. He would have had a family and would’ve experienced so much but didn’t get to just because he got the girl. God all of us humans are trash.

It said they gagged him and wanted to teach him a lesson, so I'm guessing they tried to strangle him, and make him pass out. But, they didn't know the limitations and accidentally killed him.
