I absolutely love you & everything you create!!!! Im in love with the style of your artwork!! This journal is gorgeous!!! I love using paper bags for my covers. Ive been making junk journals since a small child. Lol it was one of the only ways to have a journal back in the 80s & 90s if your parents didn't buy you one.....theyd give you old books, paper bags & paint ect. & we literally called them junk journals. Now I'm working on journals for my granddaughters, the same colors & also butterflies. I thought of putting handles on them & then came across this video!!! Perfect!! Thank you so much for all your videos!!!! Your an amazing artist!!!! 🙏🩷✌️

I love your cover!! The magnits you had it reverse in adding the glue. I also had that one time! Every magnet has a + an -side. And only + and - will click. If you rverse one and you have + and + it will not click! And also if wou want to use magnets for closer you can hide them between the papers before you saw them! I really love how you eventually fixed the problem!!

Love this journal, Barbara! Butterflies are one of my favorites to create with. You mentioned fairies, then you used those pretty colors. Since I have a fairy journal on my list, I think I may just do it using a bag, and those beautiful colors! Love all of your videos! Barbara, when you glued your magnets on you glued them south to south or north to north. They have to be north to south to be magnetic!!!!!! Like poles will repel each other as you saw in your video!!!! It would have worked so beautifully if you would have just turned one of your magnets over!!!!!! Your journal is GORGEOUS!!!! I love the painting technique and the way you used a butterfly in the center of each signature!!!!!!

Love how this turned out! Beautiful! For the future..every magnet has a positive and negative side..you were trying to put to negative or two positive together, that is why they wouldn't stay closed! Love your videos watch them all! Hugs!

I love the paint and colors in this journal! I have a four year old granddaughter that would love to see it filled with mermaids - she is obsessed! Such a great idea. I've made paper bag journals before but never painted them. I can tell that I just may be moving into a slightly messier medium!

That color is so yummy. You're right it would be perfect for a mermaid journal. The iridescent butterfly theme works just as well though. I really like the closure you ended up with. The gear is such a great idea. This is a beautifully inspired journal.

That is one of a kind journal Barbara, just beautiful. I've been thinking of that bag-style journal for a long time, I must have transmitted my thoughts to you, heheheh. And I think I know why you didn't like the first butterflies you cut from the paper pad, it's because they didn't have any veins in them, they were too plain. Anyway, this rough-paper style journal is sooo cool. I'd love to see some more. Thank you.

Oh Barbara, what a journal. Looks so magical. Love the cover. Love the butterflies in the middle of the signatures and how some of your pages are angles. A tip on the embossing folder, I have one that I’m never sure which way is up, I wrote TOP on the folder and have that side up and I emboss the correct way. Love the closure you decided on in the end. Handles are a great addition and does look fun. TFS!❤️

Quite lovely!! " It's not as sexy but oh well" lol, you are too funny. It looks just as nice as the magnet to me, but yes the final closure is perfect. The cover with that fluttering cluster of butterflies is so awesome; reminds me of a time I went to a butterfly enclosure exhibit and the fluttering swarms of butterflies and them attaching themselves to my clothes was such an exquisitely brillant experience. Pages of the flip thru are pretty also, the sound of the page flip thru is music to my ears. TFS

Das ist so unbeschreiblich schön! Ich würde es SOFORT kaufen! Einen kleinen Ausschnitt habe ich ja schon in deinem NL gesehen und ich war schon begeistert, aber nun....ich bin sprachlos. Mir persönlich gefällt es wesentlich besser als deine Inspirationsquelle 🤭🤫Einfach wunderschön!!! Und die Idee mit der Tüte und v.a. den Henkeln muss ich unbedingt ausprobieren. Das Problem mit den Magneten hatte ich ganz genauso. Sie stoßen sich tatsächlich gegenseitig ab und man muss aufpassen, wie man sie aufklebt. Aber wenn man das berücksichtigt, klappt es. Vielen Dank für dieses wunderschöne Video, liebe Barbara 🥰

🤣 Oh Barbara, was du für uns alles tust! 💚 Jeder, aber auch wirklich jeder hätte dir verziehen (oder es wäre eventuell sogar niemandem aufgefallen 😜) wenn der Schritt mit der Tüte nicht von dir mitgefilmt worden wäre! ☺️ Aber genau diese Art und Weise unterscheidet dich und deinen Kanal von anderen. 😊 Ich bin so beeindruckt! 🤩 Das ist wieder ein Projekt von dir, das so völlig anders aber trotzdem total Barbara ist! 👍 Ich finde immer toll, wenn du viel vom Entstehungsprozess filmst 🥰. Die Henkel machen das Journal sehr besonders.... Ich liebe den Stil dieses Journalcovers total, obwohl ich sonst nicht so für schimmernde Farben in diesem Zusammenhang bin. 🤔 Es liegt garantiert auch an den Schmetterlingen 😅, ich weiß es gar nicht.... Very beautiful. The dollar tree has stronger magnets which might work. You could even put it in between the layers in the cover!! I LOVE THE HANDLES!!

Really beautiful. This has inspired me to work with a grocery bag again. My first one was a leather look one by scrunching and using oxide colour covered with mod podge. Thank you.
