Jenni belli AND Nazi were huge inspirations to me back when my journal journey started as well... KZfaq will always be my favorite media outlet ...tik tok and Instagram are fine but old school KZfaq will always have my heart! Nothing beats the full video tutorials we all know and love ❤ sometimes I think damn that probably makes me sound old but I don't care I'm gonna be 42 this year and I've been a part of this crafty/Journaling community for around 20 years and i honestly don't think I'd be (creatively) doing what I do today without all of you amazing ladies and gentlemen that make KZfaq videos...over the years I've always said I'm gonna start making videos but never have for many reasons but who knows it's never too late to start right? Barbara you are one of the artists that I watch every single video that is uploaded and get so much inspiration from you as well!! Love that I've been able to watch your journey over the years!

I love seeing when you go back in time and look over your journals. It's amazing how different your style is and seeing it evolve. Love them all. Thanks to you I found Digital Collage Club and Luise. Now I have folders for each of you to keep my printouts in!

Hi Barbara, I so wished that I had found out about Junk Journals mush sooner. I only started in 2023. So sad, but will catch up. You see I design and knit my own little toys for my market. So did not really go broader than that. Having so much crafting goodies from the knitting, I had so much that I collected to actually use in my journals. Made 2, going to start my bigger one soon. Forest, garden and faerie mix. Cannot wait. All happened because of all the amazing Journal videos. Bless you.

Same here on Q1, junk journaling does it for me too, combines, collage, writing, mixed media art, sewing, all the things I love to do in one place wow. Love it.

I really enjoyed this video. I realized I get my signatures ready first (not completely done. But gathered). Then I figure out my cover. I work on the finished part of the Journal somewhere in the middle. But my Journals take me forever to finish one if it’s mine. I think I tinker a lot. If it’s a gift, I try to move it along. Loved seeing the Journals you have out on display. They’re beautiful all together. ♥️♥️♥️

Oh my goodness!! Jenniebellie got me into journaling/bookbinding as well. I still love to collect broken bits of jewelry and whatnot to add to a journal when it fits. I love how you can see from your earlier journals what your influence source was..I can with mine as well… also how your style has changed and become your own. It’s so beautiful! I love seeing you create your journals, hearing how u started and how your journey started was very interesting to hear. I remember my very first journal was while i was high school i use to staple or glue Lollie papers and notes from friends, pictures of things i liked who knew it would be classed as junk journaling now I'm an adult. Unfortunately, I lost all my earlier journals :( due to an ex he burnt them, but the memories of them make me smile. Thank you for sharing your journey.

My first journal is 6,5cm x 8cm. Gold cover, 4 signitures of 7 pages each. Little chubby book but so adorable and my way of going back to get ideas and build on them. Love it so much, so I know how you feel about your gems.

Oh my! JenniBellie was my first inspiration, too!!! I remember i started with her class with a huge journal made from cereal boxes, both covers and pages (I have to find it now and see what I have done then!). What a challenge to fill those big pages! That was around 2009-2010. Then I found Vicky Papaioannou, a Greek art journaler and card making artist, and I fell in love with her art journaling! It was then that I got to know Ranger by Tim, Dyan, and Dina, and I loved them all! I also started card making, another huge and beautiful topic of craft making!...Then, I turned again mostly to junk journals (not from junk this time), and I found you, Barbara! It was a long time ago, and i loved your videos! Can't remember exactly when that was, but i can find it since i mentioned you at one of my videos back then. Since then, i still love your videos, and after so many years, i also feel like you are my friend! Oh my...what a journey! ❤❤❤❤

Oh my goodness! You are such a wonderful artist! I love to make junk journals, but I don't have any artistic talent at all. I have to fill my journals with digital printouts. Also, I don't feel as if anything that happens in my life is worth journaling about, so I don't write in my journals. I guess I should start giving them away for other people to use. I enjoy making them, but I don't really use them.

Amazing! Jenni was also one of the first ladies whose work was so influential for me as well! It is a treasure to have so many ladies n gents share their talent with us and help us find our own thing. I so look forward to your videos! You are my favorite artist! Your Jeans Journals are my favorites! The flip throughs of your journals are so inspiring! I've made a lot of small journals. I just didn't know if i could fill a large thick book. Absolutely loved your journal journey! It’s fascinating to see how your style has developed. Quick question: when you start to answer question five, you share a blue journal made of cardboard that is labeled Create Beautiful Moments. Do you have a video showing the making of that journal?
