Maybe you could take the cover of the book you like and put it on the large green book for your brother's birthday journal. You're so good at blending things together.

If you have not already done so, yes please I would love to see a tour of how you organize all of your craft stuff. Since finding your videos, I am addicted to not only watching them, but gathering up items to make my own journals. I think I have enough “junk“ to make my first journal. I’m very excited about it. And probably like most newbies I could use help in the organization side of things. Thank you!

Oh Barbara that project you will be putting together for your brother’s 60th birthday sounds amazing! I know you can’t share much of it because of it being a surprise and it will be filled with personal items, but if there is anyway you could talk about how you are putting it together or perhaps do a future series on how to put together something like this would be fantastic.

Barbara, You've got this. You will find a way to incorporate every single item for your brother's birthday journal. It will turn out fabulous and awesomely special. I created a small birthday journal for my brother which included pictures of our mother and other family members. Our mother passed away when I was 7 years old and he was 6 months old. He never got to meet her. He loved it. So, my dear Barbara, you will create an amazing gift. Blessings to you ❣️

I was going to suggest removing the the covers as well, a lady called Amity Bloom stacks her front and back covers so this could be an idea for brother's book. Great storage solutions by the way. Happy Easter everyone xx

Hi Barbara. Thank you for sharing. I like watching videos where people show their struggles with and getting organized with storage. I unfortunately has 0 space. I live in a one bedroom unit which I share with my daughter ( She s 20yrs old). We already sacrificed our living space so she can have a bedroom. So we only have a kitchen, bathroom and a bedroom each. My craft area consists of a table in the corner of my room. The struggles are real. I'm excited for you with this new special project you're tackling. I would love to see the cover in the end.

happy you have found a workable solution for your stencils & masks. the paper / label stand looks good, you may want to cover the ink refills so they are not in the bright sun light in case of fading. fun book shelf and what a great idea for your brother. And golly thanks for the shout out!

Yes please, an updated craft box organization video would be great! Loved your original videos, they were a lot of fun to watch and very helpful. Your brother’s memory book is going to be such a treasured gift, would also love to the finished product. Love, love, love the mini label printer, on the hunt for one! Just an observation on the new printer paper cart, which amazingly holds quite a bit considering how perfectly compact the design is - the sunlight may not be good for the papers and ink. Considering how expensive photo papers, specialty papers and inks are, maybe worth it to move away from direct sunlight. Thanks for sharing all your great ideas and crafting struggles with us!

I was tidying my daughters room and I found some great things that are brilliant for storage, I also have used some kitchen items like a spice rack is great for distress spray bottles, a cd holder is a great ink pad storage unit, a paper towel holder is useful for storing washi tape and a towel rail can be adapted to use for storing stickers, stencils, die cuts etc, and dvd cases can be used for putting stamps and dies in then put into a dvd unit xx

Add a strip of washi tape on the rod that your jewelry holder slides down onto. Keep adding one strip at a time at the very lowest point until you can turn it but without the wobble. You’ll probably need to add another piece as the turning will smoosh them together but it should cut down on the wobble. The problem is,,, when it was made they didn’t choose the upright and the 'over' pieces to be within a very small difference of diameter. The other solution, but more complicated would be to take the unit to the hardware store, have them find a rod to go over your lower rod that still can fit into the upper one. If we lived close by, I’d pick you up and we'd go on the adventure together. 😊

Barbara check package on photo paper , photo paper can be damaged by light before printing when left out. Just don’t want your paper to be ruined since it is expensive! Love your craft box.

Especially since the unit is parked by a window. It is amazing how much regular lights will damage paper.

The vintage books Are gorgeous! If you make a Lapbook style book you could use multiple covers!

If you put your jewellery carousel on something higher, the same as the base, such as a wooden box, you can spin /hang longer items 😊

Love the paper storage. I kept my cannon too. I only use it to print on fabric and tissue paper, my epson doesn't like either of those and always jams. The stencils look fantastic!! Love the new bookshelf too. Your studio is so neat. ❤

Maybe you can try some of the home repair plumbing tape to wrap around the top cylinder of your stencil rack. WD50 spray may help the squeeking stop. Everything looks great, Barbara. Would love to see a craft room tour of your white storage cabinet! You have fantastic ideas! ~Terri 😊

Barbra I purchased one. I love it! I donated some stencils and most fit on the spinning rack. I’m so very happy cause they are there next to me while I’m working on something. I’m a visual person and especially love the fact that I can see them. I feel they look so nice dangling there 😁😘 I put my delicate stencils and mask into paper loose leaf sleeves. It’s not so bad because I don’t have a whole lot. Just a thought. Ps. I bought one of those 5 months ago and I love mine. It holds my most used tools under my work table 😊

I use the same system for my stencils. However, I hang the binder clips from a thin decorative curtain rod installed on my wall.

Take the cover from the smaller book {that says 60} and add that to the larger book so that it stacks. Then you can add a page between the two (perhaps a music page).

Barbara, it seems to me that the reason that your stencil spinner slants is because the weight of the stencils is not distributed evenly. It makes sense to keep the Tim Holtz stencils together, but the weigh that one side down. Perhaps moving the stencils around and dispersing the weight will help it be less wobbly. If you put anything like paper in the tube, it will make turning the spinner harder.

Thanks for the update on your storage and craft room. A question for you for that jewelry stand. Can you add a washer at the top where the problem really exists? The European books that I see on line and with my craft friends are always so lovely. Purchasing and sending them to America is so costly. Once in a great while I do see them. However, I was lucky and was given some old German books. Wonderful things happen! Carol from California

I love both shelves, the little one is so practical, can handle a lot. Still, i would keep the photo paper in an opaque package of some sort, can be damaged by the natural light, sun light, and even from the heat from the radiator (it will warp from the warmth). The same for the sticker paper and transparencies, if are too close from a heat source, even in their packaging, can be damaged. ♥♥♥

Binding rings are a great idea 💡. I'm going to need a second hanging shelf for mine as it's full up. So satisfying when you find your perfection solution! My 12" stencil does get in the way a little. Lol I have an old t.v.until for my giant printer and the shelves a perfect for my papers and keeps them lying flat. I use Koala paper too. Oh my goodness, how cute is your label maker???😍😍😍😍. It's ADORABLE 😍. Lol I once put pine wardrobes together myself while pregnant and fitted my own kitchen. Not sure how, I'd run screaming now😄. Oh cool old books 😍. Oh that cover would make a perfect topper for the cover. I'm so jealous of the German text🙊. I have font envy 😄. I'd love to see the finished cover and I know you'll make something super special that your brother will love and cherish! Tfs and have a great day 💖💖💖

Love your storage solutions. Maybe you can contact the seller of your stand and they would replace it?? I was going to suggest a cute square basket for under your desk with folders (like the box she "frankensteined"). As a scrapbooker, I've covered boxes with fabric for alpha stickers In cut down folders sorted by color. also have stickers sorted by theme in folders in a basket. I utilize the space under the daybed in my craft room for lots of storage.

I always have the problem of of things being much smaller than I thought when I order. I’m afraid some were knock offs of Timmy labels. I am so bad at reading the fine print. Love your organizational tools. Looks wonderful!

I'm just going to throw an idea on the table... perhaps it's not possible because of copyright but, here goes... How about combining the Wien 60 years front cover and the music book (landscape) for the memory book? Or do the colours clash, perhaps? I know you'll figure it out! I'd love to see the finished cover! Awesome gift for your brother! Love how organised your craftroom is now! Looks fab! I live small so my solutions are plastic boxes for everything. Not ideal, but they stack well. 😊

Maybe check the bottom of the rod under the base. Maybe that's where it is loose?

You have to be sooooooo careful with those, they will break so easily, dont do it. Every time you turn the stand it will put pressure on them. You know the hanging files? You could just put those between cardstock in one slot/opening of a hanging file. I tied a hanging file to the end of my metal shelves and love it. I just put things that i use all the time in them because its so easy to just grab and pull out. Dont get the ones that dont open very far they are useless for fast entry.

Maybe put some tape around the rod to make it more snug at the top on the stencil holder

Ich finde so witzig, dass ich meine Schablonen auch mal ähnlich auf Papier aufgeklebt hatte, das System aber auch nach einer Zeit wieder geändert habe, da es nicht praktikabel ist. Die absolut optimale Lösung hab ich noch immer nicht gefunden… Ich denke, ich habe bisher all deine Organisationsvideos gesehen, bin gespannt, was du noch so umganisiert hast. Ich habe ein extra Dreierkallax mit 6 Schubladeneinsätzen nur für Papiere und Zubehör für den Drucker, da ich für geschlossene Schränke bin und auch immer Papier auf Vorrat Vorort haben möchte. Bin gespannt, wie dein Cover für deinen Bruder aussehen wird. Liebe Grüße Nicole

I love the final two books you showed us, but Ii would not be able to force myself to cut them up - they are too beautiful. I also like your new shelf for printer paper, but your ink should not sit on it - it needs to be kept cool and dry - out of direct sunlight. I would really enjoy getting a look at the final cover.

liebe Barbara....vielleicht kannst du bei dem spinning rack im oberen bereich tixo (tesafilm) drum rum wickeln....natürlich nur so viel, dass es sich auch noch drehen lässt, vielleicht funktioniert das...lg und wow...was für tolle bücher und ein tolles projekt, das du da vor hast, bin echt gespannt 🤩

Du könntest vielleicht etwas washi tape um die Stange des Ständers wickeln, um den Durchmesser etwas dicker zu machen. Könnte aber auch dafür sorgen, dass sich der Ständer nicht mehr richtig drehen lässt. Aber einen Versuch ist es sicher wert, da es ja wieder rückgängig zu machen ist, falls es nicht funktioniert. :)

Maybe the wobling will be less if you even the weight from the stencils. Not all big ones close to each others. Just an idea😊

Maybe a piece of tape around the top of the post, so that the top piece will sit better??🙂

The masks are from many different shops/brands. I if you are in North America suggest you check PM Artist Studio, they have great ones!

Bonsoir, Pour le porte pochoirs, pourquoi ne pas essayer d'insérer une paille dans la partie inférieure pour réduire le diamètre et ainsi éviter le balancement ? Je serais ravie de voir la couverture du livre de votre frère, et peut-être un aperçu discret de l'intérieur, car j'envisage, depuis un moment de faire ce style de livre pour chacun de mes enfants, en y mettant des photos ... j'avoue ne pas savoir comment m'y prendre !!! Je n'écris pas ici d'habitude, mais je regarde toujours vos vidéos avec un immense plaisir et j'aime vraiment beaucoup votre travail, et votre façon tranquille et réfléchie de travailler .... Amicalement.
