This team was fun to watch and was stacked. As a Raider fan i can admit that i was happy that a team at least put the bay area on the map during the latter part of our dark ages.

I remember being at that game in that Dome. You could feel the energy. It was amazing. I hold that day very close to my heart. Not just because the 49ers won, but because it was my first NFL game I actually watched, my first NFL game that I was actually into, my first step into being a football fan, the first time my step-dad gave me a hug (it was a big one). I wish I could go back and re-live it.

Wow. I never thought I would comment on this video. This video made me so emotional. This game was a pure definition of 49ers football. First, Ryan and Jones get started and torch the secondary. We had no answers. 17-0, it looked like it was done from that point. But this team never gave up. Colin Kaepernick put up 2 terrific touchdown drives, ending with the james run and then the td to vernon davis. ATL up by ten, 24-14 it was a really rough first half. They come out on fire making the game 24-21 with gore's run. Then culliver's interception and then aldon smith recovering ryans fumble was HUGE. Kaepernicks pass to crabtree at the goalline and then fumbled before he breaks the goal line. So many insane shit happening holy shit. But then forcing atl to punt and then dissecting atl's defense with crabtree and gore. Navorro Bowman batting the pass down and stopping atl from scoring anything more. This may be the 49ers greatest victory of the 21st century, even better than the 2020 beatdown over green bay. And I just hope that one day we will win the 6th lombardi, and games like this one bring the fanbase a lot of hope.

We live in Bakersfield, California. My parents went to see this game. When the 49ers won the game. I got down on my knees by the bed, stretched my arms up, and cheered. My wife Katheryn came into the room and we hugged with smiles. Update: just like Dwight Clark, my wife Katheryn passed away from ALS. She passed away July 20, 2019. SF 49ers fan for life

Defensive and offensive gurus when backed into any corner. They make us proud every time, even when we're mad, upset or disappointed about the turnout or gameplay; I'm always just as proud as I ever was at the end of every game day.
