A flies up from the DMV area quarterly to get her hair reshaped and assessed. I highly recommend working with a Texture Expert / Tight Curl Artist to get an assessment.

Your knowledge, experience and techniques about tightly coiled natural hair is the truth! I don't see anyone else on YT doing what you do for tightly coiled natural hair. I've heard quite a few stylist and YT'ers say tightly curled hair can't be defined like other hair and we should accept what we have (that translates to your hair is different and you should accept the frizz). I never believed it because a long time ago when I was at the beginning of my natural journey and had no clue about my hair, I achieved a wash n go without trying. I had worked out, I co-washed my hair after working out, left some conditioner in my hair and sat in a hot tub for about 30 minutes. When I got out, my hair was extremely defined, shiny and bouncy. The next morning, it was frizzy. But that experience showed me what my hair could do. I've never been able to do a wash n go with conditioner again (always turns out frizzy) but I can definitely do it with gel. Thank you for showing girls like me that our hair is just like everyone else's and we have to know or figure out what it needs.❤

Every time I come back & look at your videos, I learn something that my mind understands. I saw the difference in your client’s hair after you went through and at the end had to go over it one last time with the gel after you emulsified it in your hands. I did notice the frizz because it sat in the air. So now I understand why you don’t recommend air dry.
