You know with auto tune and all… this is reality now unfortunately. But I guess if they want to make a living that way it’s up to them. But you know the majority of people could tell the difference if they tried. So I guess that’s the problem more than them duping everyone. I mean it’s always been a thing even as far back as Milli Vanilli lip syncing. But I’d rather see what the performance actually sounded like. But you know that’ll never happen, because with the developed use of auto tune, no one can accept anything other than unnaturally perfect pitch. Which leads to people emulating it in an attempt to make money. Given the financial state of most places I can’t really blame them, but, it’s still disingenuous.
