So putting this together, you bored it out for 4jh1liners( machined for correct height ), swapped in 4jh1 pistons and rings onto 4jb1 connect rods and rebuilt the engine with a bigger turbo. Did you finally get it installed and was it worth it... Mine will need a rebuild in a year or two so I'm looking at options... This would also lower the compression ratio as the 4jh1 piston has lower height by about 2mm... Hence the nice smooth purr...

yes we installed all the setup in this video onto an isuzu TBR54/Panther, but the turbo is too big and the boost was only about ~0,4bar . we tried TD05 and RHF4 turbo and it was worth it. because the lower compression due to smaller piston height the engine is able to handle more boost safely

and yes you are correct, we used JB conrod and JH piston. you have to do slight machining for the conrod to match the piston wrist pin shape

@@NRDGarage so how was your top end speed after all the mods? Did it get better? Mine has a tendency to feel like it runs out long before I get to 3000rpm and was hoping that this piston change would give it more room to breathe. I also did the math and it brings it closer to a square ratio for power and torque...wait, did you run compound turbo too?

valve cover: 4JA1 (4JB1 cenderung rata sedikit menonjol warna silver) in-manifold: 4JB1 (4JA1 ada cover tulisan DIRECT INJECTION) arah gas bospom kebelakang: 4JA1 (4JB1 kedepan) coba sorot ke no mesinnya apakah 4JB1 atau 4JA1?

valve covernya emang pake 4ja1 om, intake manifold pun jg pake panther non turbo, disini kita memang nyorotnya kearah depan, kalo ga percaya boleh cek ig kita om ada no bloknya pas lagi kita cat 😃

Gan. Klo pasang intercoler buat GT 2011, bisa pesan sekaligus piping nya. Ganpa bawa mobilnya ke sana. Sy liat postingan di youtube piping by NRD rapi sekali.

Saya punya turbo sama kaya itu kalo dipasang di mesin 4JA1 boostnya nambah berapa bar om.soalnya kan lubangya 2 yang masuk ke manifold turbo dan ukuranya juga lebih besar.takutnya mesinya ngempos gak kuat dorong turbonya.mohon pencerahanya ya om
