谢谢，我的朋友! My friend! You are most definitely getting good at your videoing and editing, sir. You almost paint a video novel that is so enjoyable to watch. I especially like how you put the picture-in-picture so that it did not distract from the main view, but was still informative. I am assuming that you flew to Tokyo on business, especially since you only stayed one day and also flew business class on a 5 star airline (according to Skytrax). ANA’s business accommodations looked so nice, I had to write down all of the things I noticed. When you panned across your seating area, I noticed your DSLR camera. It looked like a Canon 80D with a 24-105mm full frame lens (similar to one of mine). I’m just guessing, since I was not able to see it well. Whatever it is, it does look like a very nice camera. This is the first video in which I have heard you speak. Your English is very good, and you seemed to have learned the English way of speaking and writing, rather than American (In England they write “colour” and here, we write it “color”.). There is nothing wrong with that, I am merely making an observation. However, I do have 2 questions for you my friend: 1. How many languages do you speak, and what are they? 2. What is the video editing software you use? My comments are much longer than I had wished to have made them. But, you did provide me much to discuss, and I thoroughly enjoyed watching your video. As always, I’m looking forward to your next video.

Thank you Again Guerry my friend! It's my honor to receive this level of compliment. KZfaq drives me to do more homework on video editing. It’s very good to see you again! I wish my company would pay for business class on business trips. This is actually my first leg of flights to Taipei via Tokyo. After that, it’s NH823 from Narita to Taipei. The ticket is paid with ANA mileage. The one-day trip in Tokyo was originally planned as a long layover on my return flight from Taipei to SJC. But I was lucky enough to find seat availability later and extended the Tokyo trip to 4 days. As I mentioned in the video, I am completely satisfied with ANA’s business class. The staggered seat is perfect for solo. You almost guessed it! It’s a Canon 70D, one generation before 80D. The lens is a Sigma 18-35 f/1.8. It’s heavy but the image quality is impeccable. It’s great to know you shoot with Canon too. Thank you. I learn English from many sources and then mix them together. I guess that’s the reason why it becomes different from US English. Back to you questions, I speak 2 languages, Mandarin (Native) and English. For editing software, I recently jumped from iMovie to Final Cut Pro X. Apple’s 30-day free trial got me. I really appreciate your time and the comments. I totally enjoyed the discussions with you! Please come back often and leave more comments. They changed the route to San Jose to Tokyo Haneda now, at least that's what it says on the SJC website.

The "unknown" next to the fish and sweet potato slices is konnyaku. You may be familiar with the sweet, transparent version. Love the attention to detail in your videos! :)

I don't think I would ever fly out of San Jose for any star alliance business class unless I lived right at San Jose. I would not take a flight to San Jose to catch this flight that's for sure. I want to fly out of SFO for star alliance business class long haul so I can get access to the Polaris lounge If I have to fly from the Bay Area.

Great video! I work nearby SJC airport and always know the time when ANA takes-off. I often tell my colleagues that the time might be 12 noon because ANA Boeing 787 just took off... It's feels good seeing the video

Thank you Srinivasan! Can you find your office from the window view of the video? I work near SJC too. When on daylight saving time, I often see an ANA 787 take off while walking around my office after lunch.

Liao Fukang the office building isn't visible in this video because you were seated on left side while take off. My office is in gateway place that happens to be just opposite terminal A of SJC airport. And yeah it seems like you were able to see this aircraft during daylight savings while taking a walk because during daylight savings the ANA takes off at 1 PM instead of 12 noon.

Wow!!! That spot from where you shot the video is a great vantage point. I can even hear the noise of the engines so clearly. Please let me know if you will be making a video on plane-spotting near SJC. I will gladly join you if it is fine by you :)

I will probably go again next year. Feel free to join! The location is at the top floor of Hourly Lot next to Terminal A. Another great airport for watching aircraft is SFO. I also posted some SFO videos on my channel too.

Is the marshalers waving to the departing jet a San Jose thing, or a Japanese thing or an ANA thing?

In my experience, waving to a departing aircraft is common. But the waving style is different from airport to airport.
