Wander in the wild northern Maine wilderness in Baxter State Park on the edge of the Allagash Wilderness. The northeast U.S. is commonly considered to be all city, but northern Maine is where the wild woods of New England still are in control. The remote area is one of the largest logging centers of the U.S., full of wildlife from Black Bear to Moose, and is miles away from any large population. The final stopping point on the Appalachian Trail (the trail connecting all the highest points on the east coast beginning in northern Georgia) Baxter is home to Mount Katahdin the final terminus of the trail. The highest peak in Maine, Katahdin is a mountain deep with mythical history from the Native American heritage in the area.
I hope you enjoy the scenic drive through Baxter State Park in northern Maine and it's scenic views and wooded natural feel. The purpose of these videos is to bring some relaxation or showcase tourist destinations in their natural state without music or narration allowing the location to be the character.
