Fantastic and thank you so much for the map link! I lived in Japan 20 years ago and return every summer due to family ties. I'm always trying to find the gems I never knew about and thanks to people like you I'm able to do so easily. Thanks to the video and map link I'm going to walk the same path this Sunday. Appreciate it very much!

The mood is different from other areas. Although, it remember me a little bit of Shibuya when you go away from the crossing and walk up the hill.
@VSV_Japan3 жыл бұрын
Yes indeed. There are so many other places like Shibuya in Tokyo but I guess you need to go all the way to Kyoto to find a similar place like Kagurazaka. 😄

Shopping streets often play music and I was worried if I get in trouble again with this music recorded in this video. (copyright issue) But it looks like it's safe... By the way you were born in France and living in Canada now?

@@VSV_Japan Yes, born in Alsace and living in Canada for the past 24 years. Waiting to go to Japan next year, my school was postponed until April.

@@MartialBachoffner I've misunderstood you for a long time. I thought you were born in Canada and traveled abroad to France and came back to Canada again. So you are not a Canadian but a French! Bonjour! By the way I'm sorry your visit to Japan has been postponed. I really hope this corona thing gets over soon!

"KAGURA" means Sacred religious Japanese Dancing. You can see the dance in "Demon Slayer:Kimetsu no Yaiba". "ZAKA" means slope.

what a difference between for example Shibuya and this place, mostly people slow walking, seeing the surroundings, easy walking all around, and even what looks like European ambient music. Hontoni arigato gozaimasu.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. Other viewers said the similar thing. This place is very different for other place like Shibuya so if you change your mood, stopping by in Kagurazaka would be a nice idea. Thank you very much for watching! 😄

This golden symbol 5:36, looks like an air bender symbol. Did the animé take it from here?

@@MartialBachoffner In Japan there is a thing called "Kamon" or "family symbol" from a long time ago. It's to represent a status of a family. It's mostly used by the imperial family and bushi famiIies or samurai families. The one you saw in this video is definitely one of them. I just searched Kamon on the Internet and found this page. www.rakuten.ne.jp/gold/hina-ishikura/kamonichiran.html Take a loot at #201. If you see a Kamon, you can know which family they are derived from. I knew this is one of Kamons but I didn't know which family this shrine belonged to or if a shrine can even belong to a specific family.
