In 2016 I visited the Great Pyramids of Giza in Egypt near Cairo. The Giza pyramid complex is the location of the famous Great Pyramid, the Pyramid of Khafre, the Pyramid of Menkaure, several subsidiary pyramids and the Great Sphinx. The ancient Egyption monumental structures are over 4000 years old. The Great Pyramid of Khufu is the oldest of the seven wonders of the ancient world and was the tallest man-made structure for over 3800 years.
