I upgraded from a 6050 to LS12000 and it was a night and day upgrade. LOVE the LS12000! Quieter, cooler, brighter, sharper! A bargain as a full package!

I have a 5030 that has a great picture, but this LS12000 is tempting. I guess it's time to upgrade and I'am sure the picture quality should be better than my current 5030.

I really wish they went with reflective LCD like the LS10500. I would have gladly bought one (currently own a JVC X790).

I’d you can snatch a JVC with warranty go for it. Otherwise, this is a perfect option.

Man this new LS12000 provides a stellar image. Great alternative to a television. Love that they added the scope mode for a Panamorph lens

Epson Rep is incorrect stating the LS12000 is the only Epson projector with an anamorphic mode. The 6050UB, which I own, also has an anamorphic mode.

This thing is a GIANT KILLER!!! Hard to justify the additional cost when this thing is up against Sony and JVC. For the price it’s a no brained for me!!!

I already have 6050ub with madvr full specs on a 150 inch 16/9 screen. Would this LS12000 give me noticeable upgrade in my conditions? Not sure it's worth the extra money

The anamorphic lens allows you to use the whole 16:9 panel of the projector giving the 2:40 image more resolution and more light

Instead of a video showing the worst possible conditions ...would it be possible to see one with the ls12000b in an ideal setting?

You saw a few situations. Full lights. Partial lights and no lights.

really would love to know that diference ... 6050 is so good already . will this 1200 be a good upgrade or better wait next generation ( true 4k ) ???

MASSIVE upgrade from the days of the 6050. Better blacks, better color. sharpness is a step up and the tone mapping for HDR is the biggest upgrade. Its a jump in price, but well worth it i believe. especially since everything else has gone up in price. I think this is a no brainer

You’ll notice a sharper picture. And more precise colors right out of the box. Calibrated it will be a close race.

Any reason to make a video and not show off what it looks like in a light controlled black out environment? I know virtually nothing of this projector but a few seconds in a dark room might help me make a decision over JVC or So y.
