It's been confirmed. Native 4k (3840x2160) on the Xbox One X and 1920x2160p on the PS4 Pro which is 12% higher than 1440p.

This is getting the new standard :D look at AC, GoW, CP2077, ghost of tsushima, and you name it. All games look amazing since it's at its end of lifecycle

The textures, amount of ground vegetation and render distance is horrid in that game. Its noticble they rushed it to keep them coming every year.

The truth is consoles are holding back games. Most people have a computer in their home but not everyone has a gaming computer. But you could spend the same amount of money on a gaming computer and not get like for example on an HP computer or a Mac computer. Don't waste your time with the console I personally moved on it's been the best decision I ever made yes it's expensive but games are cheaper and there's a lot of indie games that consoles on in and get your hands on

Ps4 will have more anything than xbox, not just grass.

Anthony, you're right. 30fps in 2018 is the reality we've gotten use to with consoles. My custom built gaming PC is ready to go with the 1080 Ti, just about any game at 1440p with 60fps, and loads of games that can run smooth at 4k 60fps. Got my i7-8700k at 5.2ghz @ only 1.35v, so I won't need to upgrade that for at least 3 to 4 years. Man with the way these generations are only suppose to last 4-5 years tops, you might as well just throw that money into some solid gaming hardware. Now I've got to have a gang of consoles for some gimped exclusives, but if only I could just play all my games on PC, I wouldn't mind. If a guy like me can build a gaming PC using the internet as my guide for info, then I think just about anyone can manage to build a great gaming PC for themselves, no matter what budget they're dealing with. Luckily the console emulator scene is alive and thriving on PC, and the PS3 and many other older consoles are now emulated on PC with support for hundreds of titles with higher framerates and resolution. Red Dead Redemption can almost run properly on PC now using RPCS3. By the end of the year, it could be running at 4k 60fps on PC if your PC meets the hardware requirements; Zelda: Breath of the Wild can pretty much run solid at 1440p 60fps now on the emulator know as CEMU.

how CPR king of open world games? lmao they only have 1 open world and R* has a historical of open world games like no other. Gta 5 is a ps3 game and has equal if not more detail than witcher 3. CPR has a lot to eat ma friend a lot.

It’s just a shame I don’t care about most of either of their properties besides Elder Scrolls and Read Dead, don’t really care about GTA or Fallout. Would love to see Rockstar do a fantasy RPG or Bethesda do their own sci-fi one(which I guess we’re getting with Starfield).

probs will since the biggest difference for the next-gen consoles will be the CPU rumours saying it is using first gen ryzen great CPUs I'm still wondering how many cores and threads they will use and I only see the GPU being a bit more powerful than the current Xbox one x and the biggest difference will be on the CPU side which will allow devs if they are not supporting their game on ps4 and Xbox one consoles including pro and x to make much more advancement with games and how big worlds and such will be with more complexity

I still think uncharted 4 beats it but that is a linear game, so programming that game to look better than an open world game is understandable. One of the best best looking open world game released though.

X Quality mode - 4k30. Mostly Ultra settings. With like two being at high Performance mode 1080p60. Mostly high settings. But loses ambient occlusion. Some settings medium. That's about it

Only difference with 1080p 60fps mode is a slight difference in ambient occlusion and real time shadows from headlights. That's it

That depend on the game but when it come to big open world game with nice visual like that you can't deny that 60 fps or more will give an overall better experience, as for fast paced games like FPS 60fps + is a must, and for games like JRPG most of the time 30 fps will do just fine just tried it with Dragon Quest XI and it wasn't that bad.

Higher frame rate, higher quality assets, better texture quality, modding community.... FPS alone is enough reason, but there are definitely more benefits to running it on a gaming PC. All you have to do is look at GTA V to understand why PC gamers want it so bad. It was genuinely that much better.
